How to Clean Mobile Toilets
Admin September 21, 2026
The cleaning of mobile toilets requires a combination of systematic cleaning procedures and daily maintenance. The specific methods are as follows:

I. Eight-Step Deep Cleaning Method (Periodic Comprehensive Cleaning)
Dust Removal and Scale Cleaning
- Use a broom or feather duster to remove dust and cobwebs from the top, walls, window screens, and lighting fixtures to prevent dust accumulation from affecting equipment lifespan.
- Thoroughly scrub the scale inside squat toilets, sit toilets, and urinals with a brush. For stubborn stains, soak with a specialized toilet cleaner before scrubbing.
Wiping and Disinfection
- Wipe high-contact areas such as doors, windows, sinks, partition boards, walls, and switches with a damp cloth, focusing on removing fingerprints and water stains.
- Spray chlorine-based disinfectants (such as 84 disinfectant) on door and window handles, faucets, and switches at least three times a day. After 30 minutes of action, wipe with clean water to avoid corroding metal parts.
Floor Treatment
- First, sweep garbage from both inside and outside areas, then use a mop to remove standing water from the floor. For stubborn stains, add a small amount of neutral cleaner.
- After mopping, turn on deodorization or ventilation equipment to accelerate floor drying and prevent slipping risks.
Facility Inspection and Maintenance
- Check if faucets, sensor flushing devices, and clothes hooks are loose or damaged, and report for repair or replacement promptly.
- Test the drainage system for blockages to avoid clogging in toilets or sinks.
Tool Return
- After cleaning, wash and dry tools such as mops, brooms, and cloths, and store them in a dedicated tool room to avoid cross-contamination.
II. Daily Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning of High-Contact Areas
- Wipe the surface of toilets, sink countertops, and faucets with a clean cloth multiple times a day to prevent stain accumulation.
- Regularly scrub the edges of toilets and drainage outlets with a specialized cleaner to prevent urine scale from clogging pipes.
Garbage Disposal
- Empty trash bins containing toilet paper and waste daily at fixed times, and classify and dispose of garbage bags (recyclables, hazardous waste, other waste).
- Disinfect trash bins themselves once a week to prevent bacterial growth.
Odor Control
- Ventilation: Keep doors, windows, or ventilation equipment open during non-use periods to accelerate air circulation.
- Deodorizer Use: Place activated carbon packs in corners or spray plant-based deodorizing sprays, avoiding the use of irritating chemicals.
III. Seasonal Maintenance Focus
- Summer: Increase disinfection frequency to 4-5 times a day, focusing on spraying around toilets and on the floor to prevent mosquito and fly breeding.
- Winter: Check if water pipes are frozen or cracked, and drain standing water promptly after cleaning to prevent freezing and equipment damage.
By implementing a systematic cleaning process and daily maintenance, the lifespan of mobile toilets can be effectively extended, ensuring a hygienic environment meets standards.
