How to Add Flushing Solution to a Mobile Toilet

Admin October 09, 2026

Adding flushing solution to a mobile toilet requires operation based on its specific structure. If the structure is similar to that of a tankless smart toilet, you can refer to the following general steps, but always follow the product manual for final guidance:

1. Identify the Type and Structure of the Mobile Toilet

The flushing system of mobile toilets is divided into tank-type and tankless-type (directly connected to a water source or a recirculating water system).

  • Tank-type: Usually equipped with an independent water storage container, requiring manual addition of flushing solution.
  • Tankless-type: May flush using a pressure pump or gravity flow, requiring the addition method to be selected based on the design.

2. Steps for Adding Flushing Solution to a Tank-type Mobile Toilet

  1. Locate the Water Tank: Open the toilet's outer shell or back cover to find the transparent or semi-transparent water tank used for storing flushing water (usually located at the top or side).
  2. Turn Off the Water Supply (if applicable): If the tank is connected to an external water source, turn off the inlet valve first to prevent liquid overflow during the addition process.
  3. Dilute the Flushing Solution: According to the product instructions, mix the dedicated flushing solution (such as toilet cleaner or disinfectant) with clean water in the specified ratio. Note: Some flushing solutions can be used directly without dilution; always follow the instructions strictly.
  4. Pour into the Water Tank:
    • Open the tank lid and slowly pour in the diluted liquid.
    • If using solid toilet cleaning blocks (such as toilet tablets), check if there is a float device inside the tank. If so, place the cleaning block below the float (away from the water outlet) to avoid clogging the pipes.
    • For the first use of solid toilet cleaning blocks, let them sit for more than 10 minutes to fully dissolve before starting the flush.
  5. Resume Use: Close the tank lid, turn the water supply back on (if applicable), and test if the flushing function works properly.

3. Precautions for Tankless-type Mobile Toilets

If the mobile toilet is of a tankless design (such as directly connected to municipal water supply or a recirculating water system):

  • Do Not Add Liquid Directly: This may damage the water pump or clog the filter; use dedicated cleaning tablets (such as water-soluble solid toilet cleaning blocks) instead.
  • Consult the Manufacturer: Some tankless toilets require adding cleaning agents through specific interfaces; contact the supplier for operational guidance.

4. Safety and Maintenance Tips

  • Avoid Mixing Products: Different brands of flushing solutions may have conflicting ingredients, leading to precipitation or corrosion.
  • Regular Cleaning: Check the inside of the water tank every 1-2 weeks and remove any residual dirt.
  • Protect Children and Pets: Store flushing solutions in a dry, cool place, out of reach of children.

If any abnormalities occur during operation (such as water leakage or weak flushing), stop using immediately and contact after-sales service.
