Atlas of Prefabricated Floor Slabs for Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The atlases related to prefabricated floor slabs for houses mainly include those from Sichuan Province, Hunan Province, and some that have been abolished but still have reference value. Here is a detailed introduction:

Sichuan Province has released four series of atlases for standard prefabricated concrete components for assembled residential buildings, namely, the Standard Base Plate for Pre-stressed Concrete Steel Pipe Truss Composite Slabs, Standard Base Plate (I) for Concrete Composite Slabs in Assembled Residential Buildings, Standard Base Plate (II) for Concrete Composite Slabs in Assembled Residential Buildings, and Standard Stair Slabs for Prefabricated Concrete Stairs in Assembled Residential Buildings. These atlases provide detailed specifications and guidance for the design, production, and construction of standard prefabricated concrete components in assembled residential buildings in Sichuan Province. The sections on prefabricated floor slabs specifically outline regulations regarding slab specifications, performance, and connection methods, helping to ensure the quality and safety of prefabricated floor slabs in assembled residential buildings and promoting the development of the local assembled building industry.

Hunan Province has an atlas for prefabricated ribbed base plate concrete composite floor slabs, with the atlas number湘2021G301, which has been officially implemented since April 1, 2021. This atlas is applicable to floor and roof slabs in areas with seismic fortification intensities ranging from 6 to 8 degrees. It comprehensively covers specifications for base plate materials, clarifying the types and dimensions of base plate materials to be selected under different circumstances; specifies the grades of perforated steel bars to ensure that the strength and performance of the steel bars meet structural requirements; and provides detailed structural node diagrams, offering intuitive references for construction personnel to accurately understand and implement key aspects such as the connections and constructions of floor and roof slabs, thereby helping to improve engineering quality and construction efficiency.

In addition, the 04G101-4 Atlas for Cast-in-Place Concrete Floor and Roof Slabs, released in 2004 and abolished on September 1, 2011, still holds reference value as the first dedicated atlas for the slab flat method. The drafting rules for beam floor systems start on page 4, with concentrated annotations for slabs on page 4, in-situ annotations for supports on page 6, and examples on page 9. The section on beamless floor systems begins on page 10. It provided standardized drafting methods and annotation rules for the design and construction of cast-in-place concrete floor and roof slabs at that time, playing a significant role in understanding slab structural design and the drafting of construction drawings.
