Production Process of House Prefabricated Beams

Admin September 18, 2026

The production process of house prefabricated beams mainly includes steps such as construction preparation, steel bar processing and binding, mold making, concrete pouring, curing and demolding, as well as subsequent treatment.

Construction Preparation: This is the foundational step in making prefabricated beams. It requires comprehensive and meticulous preparations based on the design drawings. This includes cleaning and leveling the construction site to ensure the construction environment meets the requirements; preparing all necessary materials and equipment, such as steel bars, concrete, molds, and vibrating equipment, and debugging and inspecting the equipment to ensure its proper operation.

Steel Bar Processing and Binding: Process the steel bars required for the prefabricated beams, covering processes such as cutting, bending, and welding. Cutting should ensure the accurate length of the steel bars, bending should make the steel bars achieve the shapes required by the design, and welding should ensure a firm connection. After processing, bind the steel bars, using auxiliary tools such as guide bar clamps to precisely control the position and spacing of the steel bars, making them conform to the design standards and providing a stable framework structure for the prefabricated beams.

Mold Making: Carefully make molds according to the size and shape of the prefabricated beams. The molds can be made of steel or wood. Regardless of the material, they must have sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the pressure during concrete pouring, ensuring that the molds do not deform during the pouring process, thereby guaranteeing the shape accuracy of the prefabricated beams.

Concrete Pouring: Pour the pre-mixed concrete into the prepared beam molds. During the pouring process, fully vibrate the concrete using tools such as vibrating rods to ensure that the concrete fills every corner of the mold, expels air bubbles, guarantees the compactness of the concrete, and improves the quality of the prefabricated beams.

Curing and Demolding: After the concrete pouring is completed, curing is required. The curing time and conditions should comply with relevant specifications to ensure the normal growth of concrete strength. After curing, perform the demolding operation, carefully remove the prefabricated beams from the molds to avoid damaging the beam bodies.

Subsequent Treatment: This includes mold removal and chiseling, appropriately treating the surface of the beam bodies; if required by the design, positive moment prestressing construction should also be carried out; then move and store the beams, moving the prefabricated beams to designated locations for proper storage. Some intelligent assembly-line prefabricated beam yards also adopt more advanced processes, such as integral hoisting of steel bar cages, steam curing, and tensioning and grouting operations, to further improve the production efficiency and quality of the prefabricated beams.
