Hongkou District has carried out multiple practices in mobile environmental toilets, including the renovation of sanitary public toilets, mobile toilet rental services, and mobile public toilet projects.
Renovation of Sanitary Public Toilets: Hongkou District has recently completed the renovation of eight sanitary public toilets. These renovations not only focus on the "one toilet, one landscape" design concept for the exterior, incorporating personalized designs based on the characteristics of the surrounding environment, but also significantly upgrade the interior facilities. For example, the Yidishui public toilet has added a third restroom equipped with high and low washbasins, an infant care table, and a children's toilet to meet the needs of different groups. Additionally, modern equipment such as touch-controlled automatic door systems and integrated wash-and-dry handwashing facilities have been installed to enhance the user experience. In terms of barrier-free and age-friendly renovations, barrier-free ramps and handrails have been added, and each restroom is equipped with an alarm device to ensure the safety of users. Outdoor smart screens display real-time restroom usage times, facilitating citizens in合理安排 (合理安排 here means '合理安排时间' in Chinese, which translates to '合理安排 time' or more naturally in English, 'managing their time effectively').
Mobile Toilet Rental Services: Hongkou District offers various types of mobile toilet rental services, including mobile toilets for epidemic prevention centers, portable mobile toilets, outdoor mobile toilets, eco-friendly mobile toilets, and vacuum mobile toilets. These mobile toilets are suitable for a variety of scenarios such as construction sites, marathons, concerts, and music festivals, meeting the temporary needs of different events. Through rental services, Hongkou District effectively addresses the sanitation issues in temporary and mobile venues, improving the city's environmental hygiene standards.
Mobile Public Toilet Project: The Environmental Sanitation Management Center of Hongkou District, Shanghai, has also launched the mobile public toilet project on the passage at 345 Guangyue Road. The project was awarded to Shanghai Huahao Yuanyi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., with a bid amount of 196,606.44 yuan, primarily for a batch of mobile public toilet facilities and equipment. The implementation of this project has further enriched the mobile environmental toilet resources in Hongkou District, providing citizens with a more convenient and comfortable restroom environment.
