Self-assembly of Home Portable Toilet

Admin October 05, 2026

There are mainly several ways to assemble home portable toilets, including assembling simple portable toilets, assembling self-made movable bathrooms, and replacing and installing ordinary toilets (applicable to the toilet part of portable toilets).

Assembling simple portable toilets: After receiving the package, first open it to check if all the accessories are complete. This is the basis for ensuring smooth assembly. Taking some basic portable toilets as an example, during assembly, you need to insert silicone anti-slip pads into the four corners at the bottom. The silicone anti-slip pads can increase the friction between the toilet and the ground, preventing the toilet from sliding during use. Then align the upper and lower toilet bodies and press down on the buckles to make them snap together, completing the preliminary assembly.

Assembling self-made movable bathrooms: Making the base is a crucial step. Use wooden boards to install universal wheels as the base. The universal wheels facilitate the movement of the bathroom. Place the cut water bucket on the base. The water bucket can serve as a water storage or sewage container. When fixing the bucket body, use wooden strips to evenly fix them on the bucket body to ensure the stability of the bucket body. Then use an angle grinder to cut out an entrance and exit for the bathroom to facilitate people's entry and exit. Wrap and fix the cut edges with wooden boards and insert aluminum-plastic panels to extend and heighten them, which can increase the space and stability of the bathroom. Install the bucket lid and wooden door. Install the bucket lid on the top. Process a wooden door with wood and install it on the door frame with hinges to enclose the bathroom. Connect the drain pipe and floor drain. Mark the hole positions at the bottom, use a hole expander to open the holes, connect an elbow drain pipe, and install a floor drain to ensure that the sewage can be discharged smoothly. Finally, install the shower facilities and toilet. Install a water pipe joint on the side, connect a green bucket as the water source, and use PVC pipes to splice and make a showerhead. Install the newly purchased toilet in the bathroom and apply sealant around the toilet to prevent water leakage.

Replacing and installing ordinary toilets (applicable to the toilet part of portable toilets): First, check the pipes and the ground to ensure that the sewer pipe is not blocked, the ground is flat, and the sewer outlet is 2 to 5 millimeters higher than the ground, which is conducive to drainage. Find the right position, turn the toilet over, find the center point of the sewage outlet, and draw a cross line extending to the bottom and the edges around the toilet for accurate installation. Treat the sewer outlet. Use a special flange or apply glass glue on the sewage outlet to enhance the sealing performance. When installing the toilet, align it with the sewer outlet and press it down gently to ensure that the distance between the four sides and the wall is even. Check if the toilet is placed correctly and stably. Finally, connect the water inlet pipe and debug it. Connect the water pipe and try flushing to check if the water flow is smooth and if it flushes cleanly. Debug the water inlet valve and drain valve to ensure normal operation.
