High-Temperature-Resistant Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

High-temperature-resistant prefabricated houses mainly have two typical representatives: fire-resistant straw houses and Chinese modular prefabricated houses.

Fire-Resistant Straw Houses

The fire-resistant straw houses studied by the University of Bath in the UK demonstrate outstanding performance in high-temperature resistance. Built using materials such as straw, they have just passed a fire-resistance test at a temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius. This achievement is highly significant. A temperature of 1000 degrees Celsius far exceeds that of a typical fire, and passing such a rigorous test fully proves the stability of these houses in extreme high-temperature environments. From an environmental perspective, straw is a renewable and biodegradable material. Using straw as the main building material greatly reduces reliance on traditional non-renewable building materials and lowers carbon emissions during the house construction process, aligning with the current green and environmentally friendly development concept. Moreover, these houses are not merely停留在理论研究和实验阶段 (stuck in theoretical research and experimental stages); they have practical value. This means that while meeting high-temperature resistance and environmental requirements, they can provide people with safe and comfortable living spaces and are expected to be more widely applied in the future.

Chinese Modular Prefabricated Houses

The modular prefabricated houses made in China also show excellent performance in high-temperature resistance. These prefabricated houses have passed CE international certification and possess Class A fire-resistance performance, indicating that their fire-resistance capabilities have reached internationally recognized high standards. Their adaptability to Argentina's variable climate shows that they can not only withstand high temperatures but also cope with different climatic conditions. In terms of construction technology, full-process industrial prefabrication in domestic factories ensures the quality and construction efficiency of the houses. The main body adopts a galvanized steel frame, which is a sturdy structure capable of withstanding a certain amount of external force impact while providing stable support for the house. The sandwich composite insulation wall panels are embedded with EPS rock wool insulation materials. EPS rock wool has good thermal insulation properties and can effectively prevent heat transfer to the interior in high-temperature environments, maintaining a relatively stable indoor temperature and providing a suitable living environment for occupants. The houses are pre-installed with double-glazed windows and doors, full-house water and electricity pipelines, switch sockets, and kitchen and bathroom infrastructure upon leaving the factory, enabling them to be quickly put into use after delivery and reducing the workload and time cost of on-site construction.
