Hangzhou Asian Games Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

The mobile toilet used for the Hangzhou Asian Games is a vehicle-mounted mobile toilet, the first of its kind to be put into use in Hangzhou, featuring multiple innovative designs and efficient service capabilities.

I. Internal Facility Configuration This vehicle-mounted mobile toilet adopts a bus-type design with a reasonably arranged internal space layout, including 5 independent toilets and 1 independent toilet for special groups, which can simultaneously meet the toilet needs of 6 people. In terms of basic configurations, the vehicle is equipped with an air-conditioning system to ensure a comfortable usage environment; each independent toilet is equipped with handrails to enhance usage safety; and dedicated USB charging ports meet the charging needs of modern users' electronic devices. For special groups, the independent toilet is equipped with a foldable baby care table, facilitating parents in changing diapers for infants; and an electric wheelchair lift is installed on the right side of the vehicle, enabling one-button lifting and lowering through fully electric control, which is easy to operate and completely solves the problem of wheelchair users getting on and off the vehicle.

II. Comparative Advantages Over Traditional Mobile Public Toilets Traditional mobile public toilets are usually of a single-unit or pull-arm structure, requiring the cooperation of transport vehicles and forklifts for loading and unloading during use, which is time-consuming; some toilets also require external septic tanks, necessitating the collaboration of three different types of workers, resulting in high labor costs. In contrast, the vehicle-mounted mobile toilet only requires one driver for deployment, without the need for additional loading and unloading equipment or external facilities, significantly reducing labor and time costs. Its characteristics of rapid deployment and precise positioning make it more flexible in responding to sudden demands.

III. Application Scenarios and Service Value This vehicle-mounted mobile toilet has been incorporated into Hangzhou's large-scale event support system and will be widely used in scenarios such as exhibitions, events, cultural and entertainment activities in the future, effectively alleviating the toilet pressure around venues. Its high-configuration and high-standard service capabilities not only provide a comfortable experience for citizens and tourists but also reflect the city's humanistic care through barrier-free facilities and intelligent designs. For example, the configurations of the electric wheelchair lift and the baby care table cover the needs of diverse groups such as wheelchair users and families with children, demonstrating the inclusiveness of public services.
