Haikou Container House Design Drawings
Currently, no exclusive design drawings directly targeting container houses in Haikou have been found, but the following container house design cases can provide references:

Single-container 15㎡ Design
This design focuses on an integrated layout to maximize functionality through space reuse. The living room area combines leisure, reading, and dining functions, equipped with foldable tables and chairs. During the day, it serves as a dining area, and at night, the furniture can be folded and stored to free up space. The kitchen adopts a linear design, which is compact and efficient, suitable for single individuals or small families. The bedroom uses a custom-made foldable bed, which can be a standard double bed when unfolded and transformed into a sofa in a semi-folded state, meeting both rest and socializing needs. Additionally, the container door is converted into a wooden veneer storage rack, preserving the original structural features while adding storage functionality. Traditional bedside tables are replaced with open storage designs to enhance the sense of spatial openness. This plan is suitable for budget-constrained or temporary living scenarios, emphasizing functionality and flexibility.
Double-container 100㎡ Single-story Design
Composed of two 40-foot containers joined together, it creates an open public area by connecting the living room, dining room, and kitchen, enhancing spatial interaction. It features two independent bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub to meet family living needs. Design highlights include large-scale floor-to-ceiling windows and roof skylights to introduce natural light and improve ventilation. The walls, roof, and floor are all lined with internal insulation layers to adapt to different climatic conditions. A solar photovoltaic power generation system is installed on the roof to achieve energy self-sufficiency. This plan is suitable for long-term residence, balancing comfort and sustainability through modular assembly and green technologies.
Multi-specification Container Building Floor Plans
Standardized design drawings are provided for 20-foot (internal space 1200×2000) and 40-foot container buildings, as well as 3-bay (including first and second-floor layout plans) and 4-bay (including first-floor, second-floor, and roof layout plans) designs. The 20-foot container is suitable for small offices or temporary residences, while the 40-foot container can be expanded into a two-bedroom unit. The 3-bay and 4-bay designs achieve spatial stratification through vertical stacking, with the first floor typically planned as a public area and the second floor as a private space. The roof can be arranged with greenery or solar equipment. These design drawings provide a basic framework for large-scale projects and can be adjusted in terms of module quantity and layout according to actual needs.
The above cases cover a variety of needs from micro to macro and from temporary to permanent. The design logic revolves around space optimization, functional integration, and sustainability, providing technical references and inspiration for container house projects in Haikou.
