Guizhou Scenic Area Mobile Toilet Project
The Guizhou Scenic Area Mobile Toilet Project primarily focuses on meeting the needs of adapting to complex terrains and dispersed tourist flows, featuring rapid deployment, flexible transportation, and the ability to satisfy peak-season toilet demands.

Adapting to Complex Terrains: Guizhou is predominantly mountainous, and traditional toilet construction requires extensive civil engineering, imposing high site requirements. In contrast, mobile toilets do not necessitate large-scale civil engineering; they can be quickly installed on relatively flat ground. For instance, in some mountainous scenic areas with significant topographical variations, traditional toilet construction is challenging and costly, whereas mobile toilets can easily address this issue, aligning with Guizhou's mountainous geographical characteristics. Moreover, mobile toilets can be conveniently hoisted and transported to the next required location, enhancing the flexibility of resource utilization. When tourist flows vary across different areas and time periods within a scenic area, mobile toilets can be promptly reallocated to areas with high tourist volumes to meet their toilet needs.
Meeting Peak-Season Toilet Demands: Many scenic spots in Guiyang, such as Qianling Mountain and Qingyan Ancient Town, face a surge in toilet demands during the peak tourist season. Mobile toilets, with their modular design, can be rapidly deployed in areas with high foot traffic, avoiding issues such as long construction periods and large land occupancy associated with traditional toilets. Traditional toilets often require a considerable amount of time from planning to completion and use, whereas mobile toilets can be put into operation in a short period, promptly satisfying the needs of temporary tourists.
Specific Project Renovations: In the second batch of tourist toilet upgrade and renovation projects in Bijie City in 2026, four tourist toilets underwent quality upgrades: the commercial area of Baicaoping Tourist Scenic Spot in Weining Autonomous County, the Qingxudong 3A-level scenic spot in Yangchang Town, Dafang County, the mountain ridge camping base of the Axilixi·Ertaipo Scenic Spot in Hezhang County, and the Xingkong No.1 camping base of the Axilixi·Ertaipo Scenic Spot in Hezhang County. The renovations included anti-slip treatments for floors and steps, renovations of building main walls, waterproofing treatments for main flat roofs, upgrades of building doors and windows, refurbishments of wall decorations, and upgrades of water supply and drainage systems, among other improvements to the building main body, internal and external decorations, water and electricity safety and guarantees, and equipment and facilities, further enhancing the quality and service capabilities of the tourist toilets.
