Guizhou Mobile Toilet Emergency Support

Admin October 10, 2026

Mobile toilets in Guizhou play a significant role in emergency support, primarily meeting emergency needs in various scenarios such as large-scale events, urban services, complex terrains, and remote areas.

In terms of emergency support for large-scale events and competitions, when Guizhou hosts various large-scale activities such as folk festivals, sports events, and cultural exchange events, mobile toilets serve as an effective emergency supplement. For example, during large-scale events like the marathon and music festivals held in Guiyang, as well as the 2023 Guiyang International Marathon, hundreds of mobile toilets were reasonably distributed along the racecourse, effectively alleviating toilet pressure during peak periods and ensuring the smooth progress of the events and the cleanliness of the venue.

Regarding emergency needs in urban services and special scenarios, many tourist attractions in Guizhou face a surge in toilet demand during the peak tourist season. The modular design of mobile toilets allows for rapid deployment in areas with high foot traffic, such as Qianling Mountain and Qingyan Ancient Town. At construction sites for urban road renovations and subway projects, mobile toilets meet the basic living needs of construction workers. They are waterproof and corrosion-resistant, can be used for long periods in complex outdoor environments, and are easy to install and relocate. During the COVID-19 pandemic, to address the toilet needs of staff at the newly added nucleic acid testing sites in Zhucheng Square, the Guiyang Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau urgently allocated emergency mobile toilets to the testing sites, providing convenience for staff and citizens. During the college entrance examination, mobile toilets are placed outside the examination venues for the convenience of examinees and their parents, with sanitation workers ensuring toilet cleanliness. The toilets are removed after the examination.

In terms of meeting emergency needs in complex terrains and for dispersed tourist flows, Guizhou's terrain is mainly composed of plateaus and mountains, with widespread karst landforms. Building fixed public toilets is costly and difficult. Mobile toilets do not require large-scale civil engineering work and have low site requirements. They can be quickly installed as long as there is a relatively flat area, making them suitable for Guizhou's mountainous characteristics. They can quickly respond to emergency needs in natural scenic spots, rural tourist spots, and mountain hiking trails where tourist flows fluctuate periodically.

In terms of emergency support for remote areas, infrastructure construction in some remote rural areas is relatively backward, especially with insufficient sanitation facilities during fairs and celebrations. Mobile toilets can serve as a transitional or supplementary solution to improve local basic sanitation conditions.
