Guangshui Prefabricated Housing Products
There is relatively little information on prefabricated housing products in Guangshui. Currently, it is known that there are prefabricated slab factories that can manufacture and sell prestressed concrete hollow slabs, as well as natural architectural forms like 'earth-block huts'.

Products from Prefabricated Slab Factories
The Guangshui Honghuashan Village Prefabricated Slab Factory in Honghuashan Village, Haodian Town, Guangshui, was established on April 13, 2015, and is currently in operation. Its business scope includes the manufacture and sale of prestressed concrete hollow slabs. However, when it comes to licensed business projects, approval from relevant departments is required before operation. Prestressed concrete hollow slabs are a common prefabricated housing component widely used in the construction field. They have many advantages. For example, their relatively light weight helps reduce the overall weight of the building and lower the requirements for the foundation. Their good structural performance enables them to bear certain loads and meet the basic load-bearing needs of houses. Moreover, they are convenient for construction. After being prefabricated in the factory, they are transported to the construction site for installation, which can improve construction efficiency and shorten the construction period.
'Finished Products' in Natural Architectural Forms
In Hanjiayan Village, Chengjiao Subdistrict Office, Guangshui, there is a couple in their 90s, Shang Jianbo and Wan Tingting, who have built a series of natural buildings in a unique way. They mixed clay, sand, straw, and water, and then built a two-story mud house with a thatched roof, known as an 'earth-block hut', entirely by hand. In addition, they designed and built earth-block classrooms, earth-block toilets, Fuller domes, conch bathrooms, etc. These buildings are not traditional prefabricated housing products in the conventional sense, but they embody unique architectural concepts and hand-building skills. They mainly use natural materials, focus on blending with the environment, give people a sense of returning to nature, and also provide different ideas and examples for the architectural field. However, these natural buildings may not be as durable or earthquake-resistant as modern prefabricated houses, and the construction process is relatively complex, requiring professional skills and a large amount of manual labor.
