Grassland Portable Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

Grassland portable toilets are suitable for places such as scenic spots, campsites, and park lawns. When in use, stability must be ensured through methods such as laying foundations, checking support feet, ground anchor fixation, or adding counterweights.

I. Applicable Scenarios and Basic Requirements

Grassland portable toilets are specifically designed for outdoor environments with soft ground, commonly found in scenic spots, camping sites, and park lawns. Their core advantage lies in portability, but it is necessary to evaluate the site conditions in advance. If the ground consists of soil, sand, or a vegetation layer, a stable foundation must be created through manual intervention to prevent the toilet from tilting or being damaged due to ground subsidence.

II. Stability Assurance Measures

  1. Laying Foundation Materials
Before renting, it is necessary to lay gravel or wooden planks at the installation location of the toilet, with a recommended thickness of 10-15 centimeters. Gravel can disperse pressure and prevent soil subsidence, while wooden planks provide a flat supporting surface. If the site slope exceeds 5%, leveling can be achieved through layered filling or adjusting the angle of the wooden planks.

  2. Checking Support Structures
Before installation, it is essential to confirm that the support feet at the bottom of the toilet are intact to avoid uneven force distribution due to local missing parts. Anti-slip pads or metal brackets can be added to the contact parts between the support feet and the ground to enhance friction and load-bearing capacity.

  3. Ground Anchor Fixation Method
Use expansion screws or ground anchor pins to fix the toilet at its four corners or key load-bearing positions (such as near the septic tank). The fixing chains (straps) must be perpendicular to the ground, and the depth of the ground anchors must exceed 30 centimeters to ensure pull-out resistance. If rock layers are encountered, chemical anchors can be used instead, or the fixing spacing can be shortened.

  4. Enhancing Stability with Counterweights
In cases of temporary site restrictions, sandbags or water tanks (it is recommended that the total weight be no less than 30% of the toilet's self-weight) can be placed inside the toilet, or counterweight blocks can be hung outside. The counterweights must be evenly distributed around the toilet to avoid overloading on one side and the risk of tipping over.

III. Precautions for Special Scenarios

  • Rainy Season or Humid Environments: Increase the thickness of the foundation materials (recommended over 20 centimeters) and regularly check whether the ground anchors are loose.
  • Strong Wind Areas: In addition to ground anchor fixation, anti-wind ropes can be installed on the top of the toilet, forming triangular supports with ground fixing points.
  • Long-term Use Scenarios: It is recommended to inspect the support structures and fixing devices every three months and promptly replace aging components.

Through scientific site selection and standardized installation, grassland portable toilets can safely serve various outdoor scenarios, meeting both environmental protection needs and user convenience.
