Grandpa's Mobile Toilet

Grandpa's mobile toilet is a simple facility that emerged to address the pain point of insufficient toilet supply in popular urban attractions and snack streets. While it can provide immediate relief, it also poses hygiene risks.

Situation of Grandpa's Mobile Toilet Stall in Chengdu

In Chengdu, a grandpa operates a simple mobile toilet stall on a snack street using a modified ordinary cart. The toilet is partitioned with curtains inside. This mobile toilet has become the focal point of the entire street, attracting many tourists and being jokingly referred to by netizens as the 'most in-demand stall in the whole of China'. It has garnered attention because it hits on a pain point in urban management. In popular attractions and snack streets, the large number of visitors often makes it difficult for the available toilets to meet demand, leaving tourists frequently facing the problem of not being able to find a toilet or having to wait in long lines. The grandpa's mobile toilet can, to a certain extent, alleviate this urgent situation and provide convenience for tourists. However, this simple mobile toilet also has obvious hygiene risks. Due to the lack of professional sanitation management equipment and standards, issues such as the frequency of disinfection and sewage treatment rely solely on the grandpa's self-discipline. If disinfection is not carried out in a timely manner, it is easy for bacteria and viruses to breed and spread diseases. Improper sewage treatment may cause pollution to the surrounding environment and affect the overall hygiene of the snack street.

Creative Mobile Toilet Ideas from Other Grandpas

In addition to the grandpa's mobile toilet stall in Chengdu, there are other grandpas who have come up with creative mobile toilet ideas. Some grandpas pull mobile toilets by hand, which have been praised by netizens as 'definitely the coolest stall in the whole venue'. This reflects the unique innovative thinking of these grandpas, who can come up with different solutions based on actual needs. There is also a grandpa who has become a popular stall owner thanks to his 'mobile toilet'. His 'mobile toilet' has sparked heated discussions among netizens. Some admire his out-of-the-box thinking and ability to come up with such novel ideas, while others are concerned about hygiene issues, as it is difficult for such simple mobile toilets to meet the hygiene standards of regular toilets.
