German Portable Toilets
Admin October 05, 2026
German portable toilets come in various types, mainly including portable toilets and construction-site portable toilets.

Portable Toilets
- Design Features: Designed by German designer Eva Tint, these toilets have a leaf-like appearance and are made from special eco-friendly materials. This design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also takes environmental factors into full consideration, meeting Germany's high standards in the field of environmental protection. When folded, they measure approximately 12×28 centimeters, making them compact and lightweight, easily fitting into a woman's handbag for convenient carrying.
- Functional Characteristics: The product is equipped with a super-absorbent agent inside, which is one of its core functions. When liquid enters, the super-absorbent agent quickly converts the liquid into a gel, effectively preventing leakage and addressing hygiene and cleanliness issues during use. The bottom features illustrated usage instructions, allowing users to quickly understand how to use the toilet even without written explanations, ensuring clear operation through the illustrations.
- Development History: This design first gained attention from football fans during the 2008 European Cup. At large sports events, long queues for public restrooms were a serious problem, and these portable toilets provided convenience for fans. In 2009, German companies began mass production, selling them in the European market in sets of three for 4.5 euros each. Initially targeted at female users to help them cope with long queues for public restrooms, the application scenarios gradually expanded to include car travel, outdoor gatherings, etc. Cleaning wipes are provided for use to ensure cleanliness after use, and the toilets can be disposed of as ordinary garbage after use, making them convenient and quick. As the application scenarios expanded, they gradually gained acceptance from more male users.
Construction-Site Portable Toilets
The portable toilets equipped at German construction sites are important facilities that provide convenience for workers. At construction sites and other locations with a large number of workers and scattered work areas, fixed public restrooms are often insufficient to meet the demand. Portable toilets can be flexibly arranged according to the actual situation of the construction site, providing workers with nearby restroom facilities, improving work efficiency, and also demonstrating attention to and protection of workers' basic living needs.
