Genius Made Mobile Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

The process of a genius making a mobile toilet using plastic buckets is as follows:

I. Construction of the Main Structure

  1. Bucket Body Modification: Horizontally cut the plastic bucket at one-third of its height, retaining the bottom as the base structure. Install wheel devices at the bottom to ensure overall mobility.
  2. Heightening and Fixing: Nail multiple anti-corrosion wooden strips into the cut edges of the bucket body to raise the overall height to a suitable range for use. Reserve two vertical gaps between the wooden strips as the toilet door openings, with the gap width meeting the needs of adult entry and exit.
  3. Top Closure: Use the upper part of the cut plastic bucket as a top cover and place it over the heightened wooden frame to ensure top sealing. The connection between the top cover and the frame adopts an overlapping design to prevent rainwater penetration or external peeping.

II. Installation of Functional Modules

  1. Door Production:
    • Fix two synthetic wooden boards at the edges of the iron sheet as the door frame to enhance structural stability.
    • Overlap and splice the remaining wooden floorboards from the father-in-law, fix them as door panels with screws, and apply anti-corrosion paint on the surface to extend the service life.
    • Connect the door panel to the door frame with hinges, test the smoothness of opening and closing, and adjust the tightness.
  2. Drainage System:
    • Drill holes at the bottom of the bucket body and install drainage holes, connecting PVC pipes to guide them to external drainage outlets.
    • Refit a large trash can as a shower water storage bucket: drill holes in the bucket body and bottom, install water pipe connectors, connect them to a showerhead through PVC pipes, and design a water flow regulator on the showerhead to control the water output.
  3. Water Supply Distribution:
    • Connect the main water pipe to a three-way connector, with one branch going to the sink and the other connecting to an internal three-way connector, one end of which is used for shower water supply.
    • Seal all water pipe joints with strong glue to prevent water leakage.

III. Detail Optimization and Reinforcement

  1. Toilet Fixing: After installing the toilet, fill the gap at the bottom with epoxy resin glue to prevent loosening and improve corrosion resistance.
  2. Privacy Protection: Wrap soft materials around the edges of the iron sheet at the door opening to avoid scratches; install sealing strips at the overlapping part between the top cover and the bucket body to enhance the anti-peeping effect.
  3. Anti-corrosion Treatment: All wooden components (such as wooden strips and door panels) need to be painted with more than two layers of anti-corrosion paint to adapt to humid environments.

IV. Safety and Practical Considerations

  • The wheels should be industrial-grade models with strong load-bearing capacity to ensure stability during movement.
  • The diameter of the drainage holes should be designed according to the frequency of use to avoid blockage or slow drainage.
  • The capacity of the water storage bucket is recommended to be no less than 50 liters to meet the needs of a single shower.
