Installation of Vehicle-mounted Mobile Toilets in Gansu

Admin October 08, 2026

The installation of vehicle-mounted mobile toilets in Gansu requires a combination of modular design, environmental adaptability, and transportation and fixation requirements, achieved through a standardized process for efficient deployment.

I. Material Selection and Modular Design
The diverse climate in Gansu necessitates materials for vehicle-mounted mobile toilets that are environmentally adaptable. High-strength fiberglass, with its corrosion resistance and low-temperature resistance, is suitable for cold regions such as the Hexi Corridor; color-coated steel plates, with their mechanical strength and weather resistance advantages, are commonly used in the Loess Plateau and the humid areas of southern Gansu. Modular design is a core principle, with toilet bodies, fecal tanks, pipes, and other components prefabricated in factories and assembled on-site using dedicated connectors, reducing welding or concrete pouring processes and shortening the installation cycle. For example, the walls and roofs of color-coated steel mobile toilets are fixed with bolts, ensuring structural stability and facilitating later maintenance.

II. Transportation and Fixation Techniques
Vehicle-mounted mobile toilets require low-bed trailers to transport standard modules, ensuring that the modules are securely fixed during transportation to avoid damage from bumps. During installation, foundation treatment is a critical step: concrete foundations can be used on flat ground to enhance stability; adjustable steel supports can be used on rugged or temporary sites, adjusting the height to adapt to different terrains while minimizing ground damage. The fixation process must consider vehicle characteristics, such as using anti-slip mats, ground anchors, or welding reinforcement to ensure a tight connection between the toilet and the vehicle chassis, preventing displacement during transportation or use.

III. Environmental Adaptability Technology Adaptation
Mobile toilets in Gansu are classified into three technical versions based on climate zones: Hexi Corridor type requires cold resistance down to -25°C, with pipes wrapped in insulation materials to prevent freezing in winter; Loess Plateau type requires enhanced wind and sand resistance design, such as sealing door gaps and installing dust screens; Southern Gansu humid type focuses on corrosion and moisture resistance, using stainless steel fittings and applying waterproof coatings. Vehicle-mounted toilets in areas without sewer pipes need to be equipped with environmentally friendly fecal tanks, using biodegradation or chemical treatment technologies to reduce odors and requiring regular cleaning to avoid overflow. Additionally, areas prone to sandstorms need to install sealing strips, while high-temperature areas in summer need to use deformation-resistant materials to ensure structural stability.

IV. Standardized Installation Process
Before installation, the site must be surveyed to confirm the vehicle parking location and water and electricity access conditions. The process includes: foundation construction (concrete pouring or steel support installation), module assembly (connecting walls, roofs, and pipes according to instructions), functional testing (checking flushing, ventilation, and lighting systems), and environmental protection (adding freeze protection, sand prevention, or corrosion prevention measures). After installation, a load test must be conducted to ensure that the toilet is securely connected to the vehicle and meets transportation and use safety requirements.
