Fuzhou Outdoor Mobile Toilet

There are various price and hidden charge situations in the rental and sale of outdoor mobile toilets in Fuzhou. It is necessary to choose merchants carefully and clarify contract terms.

Hidden Charges in Rental

• Multiple additional fees beyond the base rent: In addition to the base rent, there are deposits, cleaning fees, transportation fees, etc. Some merchants do not clearly specify the refund conditions for deposits. Cleaning fees are charged by the day, ranging from 10 to 20 yuan per day. For example, if rented for 3 days, the cleaning fee may reach 30 to 60 yuan.
• Differences in equipment types and configurations: Merchants may intentionally confuse or conceal equipment functions, claiming to offer a 'standard configuration' but without a toilet paper holder, etc., which requires additional payment. This may lead to additional expenses during actual use.
• Hidden costs in transportation and installation: For cross-province transportation or when the installation location is far from the urban area, a transportation fee of 5 to 10 yuan per kilometer may be incurred. For high floors or special installation conditions, a high-altitude operation fee may be charged. For example, if the transportation distance is 100 kilometers, the transportation fee may be 500 to 1000 yuan.
• Vague contract terms: For example, 'a rental period of less than 24 hours is counted as one day' and 'the equipment is compensated at the full price in case of damage' without specifying the compensation standard, which can easily lead to disputes.
• Charging traps in additional services: Merchants bundle additional services such as air fresheners, toilet paper, and hand sanitizers for sale, and the charges may be high. For example, an air freshener costs 30 yuan per bottle, and toilet paper is charged by the roll.
