Fujian Mobile Smart Toilet Management

Admin September 20, 2026

Fujian Mobile Smart Toilet Management covers four core areas: intelligent systems, daily maintenance, charging and timing, and smart toilet-finding services.

I. Intelligent Management System
Fujian Mobile toilets have built an intelligent management platform by integrating technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors. This system automatically monitors environmental parameters inside the toilets (e.g., air quality, humidity) and coordinates cleaning, disinfection, and ventilation equipment for automated operation. For example, when sensors detect excessive odor, the system immediately activates ventilation equipment; after peak usage periods, it automatically triggers cleaning procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met. This “unmanned” model significantly improves management efficiency while reducing the need for manual intervention.

II. Standardized Daily Maintenance Procedures
Maintenance follows strict protocols:

  1. Cleaning and Disinfection: Daily擦拭 (Note: “擦拭” is translated as “wiping” in context, but here kept as a placeholder to show original Chinese term location; actual translation would be “Daily wiping and disinfection of floors, walls, and sanitary equipment (e.g., toilets, sinks), with increased frequency in high-traffic areas.”) of floors, walls, and sanitary equipment (e.g., toilets, sinks), with increased frequency in high-traffic areas;
  2. Equipment Inspection: Weekly checks on the operational status of hardware such as flushing mechanisms, door locks, and lighting, with prompt repairs for any faults;
  3. Consumable Replenishment: Dynamic replenishment of consumables like toilet paper and hand soap based on usage to prevent shortages;
  4. Waste Disposal: Timely cleaning of collection containers or treatment tanks for different toilet types (e.g., dry toilets, flush toilets) to prevent overflow or contamination.

III. Charging and Timing Management Mechanism
Some public toilets adopt a “scan-to-pay + countdown” model: After scanning a code to enter, the system automatically deducts fees and starts a countdown, with the remaining time displayed in real-time on the user’s mobile device. If the time expires, users can choose to extend usage by paying additional fees or end the order directly. This model ensures rational allocation of resources and prevents long-term occupation, making it particularly suitable for high-traffic scenarios such as tourist attractions and commercial districts.

IV. Innovative Smart Toilet-Finding Service
In August 2025, Fuzhou launched the “Fuma Toilet Finder” mini-program, integrated into the “Fuzhou Garbage Classification” official account platform. This service uses LBS positioning technology to provide users with precise navigation to nearby public toilets and supports real-time feedback (e.g., hygiene conditions, equipment failures). Future plans include expanding data coverage to include non-sanitation public toilets in parks, subways, and other locations, forming a city-wide unified smart toilet management network to further enhance public service convenience.
