Fangcang Mobile Toilet Ventilation
The ventilation systems for fangcang mobile toilets mainly include natural ventilation, mechanical ventilation, deodorization ventilation, and intelligent ventilation types.

The natural ventilation system achieves indoor-outdoor air exchange by setting ventilation openings, such as louvers, on the walls of the mobile toilet, utilizing the pressure difference formed by natural wind. Its advantages are simple structure, no additional power consumption, and energy conservation and environmental protection; its disadvantage is that the ventilation effect is greatly affected by the size and direction of natural wind, and the ventilation efficiency may not be high when there is no wind or the wind is weak.
The mechanical ventilation system includes exhaust fan ventilation and combined supply and exhaust ventilation. Exhaust fan ventilation involves installing an exhaust fan inside the mobile toilet to directly extract the indoor foul air and allow fresh air to replenish. Different power and air volume options can be selected according to needs, which can effectively and quickly improve the indoor air environment. However, using only an exhaust fan may lead to negative pressure indoors, and it is necessary to reasonably set the air inlet for balance. Combined supply and exhaust ventilation uses a supply fan to send fresh air in and an exhaust fan to discharge the foul air, enabling precise control of indoor air flow and quality, ensuring stable ventilation effects. It can also maintain appropriate indoor air pressure by adjusting the supply and exhaust air volumes, preventing odor overflow and the entry of outdoor foul air.
The deodorization ventilation system is equipped with specialized deodorization and ventilation equipment in some mobile toilets. For example, activated carbon adsorption devices can adsorb odor gases, and photocatalytic oxidation equipment can decompose odor molecules, showing significant effects in odor removal, improving the air quality inside the mobile toilet, and providing a more comfortable environment for users.
The intelligent ventilation system uses sensors to monitor parameters such as air quality, humidity, and the number of people inside the mobile toilet, and automatically adjusts the operation of ventilation equipment based on the monitoring results. For example, when the number of people increases, the odor concentration rises, or the humidity increases, the system automatically increases the ventilation volume, achieving intelligent and precise ventilation control and further improving the user experience. In addition, the mobile toilets in the largest fangcang hospital project in Shanghai adopt a centralized discharge and extraction form, preventing the accumulation of waste inside the mobile toilets, fully meeting usage needs, and creating a clean and hygienic environment.
