Electrical Load of Mobile Toilets
The electrical load of mobile toilets varies significantly depending on their type and configuration, primarily falling into the following three categories:

1. Modular Mobile Public Toilets
These toilets are typically used for large events or temporary venues. Their electrical systems are connected using a 380V three-phase five-wire system, with a design load rating of Level III and a total calculated load of 12kW. The high load mainly stems from the additional demand of winter heating equipment (such as electric tracing devices), necessitating a stable power supply system to support continuous operation. Additionally, some modular toilets may be equipped with air conditioners, hand dryers, and other devices, further increasing power demand.
2. Ordinary Flush Mobile Public Toilets
These toilets focus on basic functions, equipped with exhaust fans, lighting, and ordinary faucets, and use 220V household AC power with a total power range of 100-300W. Their electrical load is relatively low, suitable for daily use scenarios without requiring special power supply conditions. Their energy consumption primarily comes from lighting (approximately 20-50W) and exhaust fans (approximately 30-100W), with faucets being mechanical and not consuming electrical energy.
3. Mid-to-High-End Smart Mobile Toilets
These toilets integrate sensor-activated flushing, automatic disinfection, hot water units, smart ventilation, and other devices, with a total power range of 300-800W, also relying on 220V AC power. Among them, the hot water unit (such as an instant electric water heater) is the main power-consuming component, with a power rating of up to 1-3kW, but typically used intermittently, resulting in a lower actual average load. Smart ventilation systems (approximately 50-200W) and automatic disinfection devices (approximately 30-100W) also contribute to overall energy consumption, necessitating stable power supply to avoid equipment failures.
Additional Notes:
- The electrical load of energy-efficient/ordinary mobile toilets is calculated per toilet stall, with a rated power typically ≤5W per stall and a daily power consumption of approximately 0.5kWh per stall per day; in winter anti-freeze mode, this may increase to 1.5kWh per stall per day, mainly due to the low-power continuous operation of electric tracing or insulation equipment.
- The actual electrical load should be comprehensively evaluated based on equipment usage frequency, ambient temperature (such as winter heating demand), and power supply voltage stability. It is recommended to select an appropriate power supply capacity based on the specific configuration.
