Portable Toilets for Duku Highway
Currently, there is no official unified procurement of portable mobile toilets explicitly allocated along the Duku Highway, but there are mobile toilet procurement projects and a demand for portable toilet facilities for tourists, allowing solutions to be selected based on the actual situation.

From the perspective of official procurement projects, there are plans for mobile toilet construction along the Duku Highway. Three mobile toilets have been procured for the Tangbula Scenic Area in Nilka County, the Mengkete Ancient Road Scenic Area, and the Nilka Qiaoerma Section of the Duku Highway. Xinjiang Jiangtai Intelligent Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid, with the overall toilet dimensions being 935030003400 (length, width, height) and a unit price of 175,533 yuan. In 2025, subsidy funds for mobile toilets on key tourism routes across Xinjiang will involve the G217 highway in the Tacheng region (including the Wusu section of the Duku Highway). Xinjiang Shimai Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid, with the construction scope including mobile toilet construction at points such as K610 and K659 on the Duku Highway (Wusu section). However, these mobile toilets are not the traditional 'portable' type but large facilities built at fixed locations, mainly addressing toilet needs in specific areas along the route.
Feedback from tourists indicates that during the peak tourist season in September 2026, the conditions of dry toilets along the Duku Highway are poor, with long distances between scenic spots and insufficient supporting facilities such as service areas and toilets, creating an urgent demand among tourists for clean toilets. Against this backdrop, there are various outdoor portable toilet facilities available on the market, such as vehicle-mounted portable toilets. For example, the Yueka outdoor toilet folds up like an ordinary stool and unfolds into a complete toilet system with anti-splash design, accompanied by a combination of degradable bags and coagulants. The Morannuoer portable toilet has anti-slip threads and adjustable feet at the bottom, with an inner bucket equipped with an activated carbon filter for odor-proof sealing. The folding black-and-gray toilet seat has an ergonomic arc and comes with degradable bags featuring an antibacterial coating. Although these products are not explicitly mentioned for use on the Duku Highway, due to their portability, ease of operation, and hygiene, they can serve as temporary toilet solutions for tourists traveling by self-drive or otherwise along the Duku Highway, meeting their basic needs during movement.
