Rental Arrangements
During the National Day holiday in 2026, Dujiangyan Scenic Area plans to rent mobile toilets to cope with the peak tourist flow during the holiday. The rental project will determine the implementing unit through an open comparison and selection process. There are clear requirements for applicants participating in the comparison and selection. They must have independent legal person status, and their business licenses should include environmental sanitation public facility installation services.
Quantity and Placement
The scenic area will coordinate the addition of 25 new mobile toilets. Mobile toilets are usually placed at locations such as the entrance of the scenic area and beside the ticket inspection gates. During holidays when there is a large tourist flow, the scenic area will make dynamic adjustments and add temporary mobile toilets at places like the entrance and viewing platforms to meet the toilet needs of tourists. At the same time, considering that female tourists generally take longer to use the toilet, the scenic area will increase the proportion of female toilet stalls to reduce the waiting time for female tourists.
Hygiene and Safety Standards
Mobile toilets must comply with national hygiene and safety standards. To ensure hygiene,雾化消毒 (atomizing disinfection) is carried out every day to keep the interior of the toilets clean. Moreover, they are equipped with air quality monitoring and purification systems. Once the air quality exceeds the standard, the purification system will automatically start to improve the air quality inside the toilets.
Facility Equipment
The stalls of mobile toilets focus on protecting the privacy of tourists. Some mobile toilets have tidal toilet stall switching functions and are equipped with light and voice prompts to facilitate tourist use. According to relevant requirements, there should be at least one ecological mobile toilet per square kilometer in scenic areas rated 4A and above. As a well-known scenic area, Dujiangyan Scenic Area actively implements this standard. Mobile toilets are equipped with hand-washing sinks and hand-drying equipment to facilitate tourists in cleaning their hands after use. For scenic areas rated A and above, they are also equipped with barrier-free facilities and family restrooms to provide convenience for special tourist groups and family tourists.
