Dimensions of Mobile Toilets
The dimensions of mobile toilets vary depending on the type and requirements. Common specifications can be categorized into single-stall, multi-stall combinations, and accessible stalls, with specific size ranges and design considerations as follows:

I. Single-Stall Specifications
The external dimensions of a single-stall mobile toilet typically range from 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length, 1.0 to 1.2 meters in width, and 2.2 to 2.5 meters in height. The net dimensions of the internal toilet area must meet ergonomic requirements: the net width should not be less than 0.85 meters, with an ideal range of 0.9 to 1.0 meters; the net depth should be 1.2 to 1.5 meters to ensure sufficient space for users. The door design must ensure easy passage, with a door width of no less than 0.6 meters to avoid inconvenience due to narrow space. These specifications are suitable for scenarios with low pedestrian density, such as temporary events, construction sites, or remote areas.
II. Multi-Stall Combination Specifications
Multi-stall mobile toilets expand capacity through modular design, with common combination forms including two-stall units and large container-style units:
- Two-Stall Units: The length extends to 2.4 to 3.0 meters, while the width remains at 1.0 to 1.2 meters. By arranging two independent stalls horizontally, usage efficiency is improved, suitable for small to medium-sized events or public places.
- Large Container-Style Units: The length can exceed 6 meters, with a width of over 2.5 meters. The internal space can be flexibly divided, typically including multiple male and female stalls, accessible toilets, and a management room, meeting high pedestrian demands such as large exhibitions, music festivals, or transportation hubs.
III. Accessible Stall Dimensions
Accessible stalls must meet the needs of wheelchair users, with stricter design standards: the internal net width should be at least 1.5 meters, and the net depth should be over 1.8 meters to provide sufficient turning space for wheelchairs. Additionally, the door design should use a swing door or sliding door, with a door width of no less than 0.9 meters, and be equipped with auxiliary facilities such as handrails and emergency call devices to ensure safety and convenience. These stalls are usually embedded as independent modules in multi-stall combinations or large container-style toilets.
IV. Design Specifications and Additional Requirements
The design of mobile toilets must comprehensively consider factors such as material selection, waterproofing and moisture resistance, and ventilation. It must strictly adhere to the relevant provisions of the Urban Public Toilet Design Standard (CJJ 14-2016). For example, the internal height must ensure ventilation, the floor material must be slip-resistant and wear-resistant, and the walls must have thermal insulation properties. Actual dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturer processes, transportation limitations, or customization requirements, but core parameters must comply with national standards to ensure user experience.
