Deyang New Mobile Toilets

Admin September 21, 2026

The new mobile toilets in Deyang, represented by the prefabricated public toilets in Shifang City and the smart public toilets in Jingyang District, embody modern, user-friendly, and intelligent features in both design and functionality.

The new public toilet in Shifang City was completed and opened in 2025 outside the vegetable market on the main street of the city center. It adopts prefabricated construction technology, with its exterior design selected through public solicitation of opinions and voting to ensure a modern and aesthetically pleasing appearance that blends with the urban environment. The interior facilities prioritize hygiene and convenience: the floor is paved with glossy tiles, the sinks are equipped with sensor-activated faucets, and the stalls are independent, clean, and odor-free. The stall doors display 'Occupied/Vacant' status on electronic screens to prevent awkward mis-entries. An additional third restroom is equipped with a baby changing table, handrails, and child/adult toilets to meet the needs of special groups.

Jingyang District focuses on smart public toilets as its core, driving the construction of eight networked smart public toilets through a dual approach of 'hardware upgrades + mechanism innovation'. Taking the renovation of Wenmiao Square as an example, its area has been expanded to three times its original size, with the number of women's stalls increased from 9 to 20, and new stalls and urinals added for men, serving over 5,000 people daily. The electronic display at the entrance of the public toilet shows real-time ammonia concentration, temperature and humidity, and stall availability, while red-green indicator lights are installed on the toilet doors. Inside, sensors monitor ammonia concentration, triggering the fresh air system to automatically start ventilation when levels exceed standards, in conjunction with intelligent lighting, automatic flushing, and other linked functions. This has reduced the average monthly energy consumption of a single public toilet by 30% and increased stall turnover efficiency by 80% during peak holiday periods. Additionally, the public toilets are equipped with a third restroom, a baby care station, and emergency call buttons, and have introduced a 'one toilet, one code' scanning and evaluation mechanism: citizens can scan the code to evaluate services and report issues, while the system monitors the remaining quantity of consumables and equipment status in real-time, issuing automatic alerts and dispatching repairs when supplies are low or faults occur. As of now, this system covers 91 public toilets, has processed 2,495 evaluation requests, achieved a 100% work order completion rate, and maintained a satisfaction rating of over 97.5%.

Both types of public toilets break away from traditional designs, with Shifang City emphasizing prefabricated rapid construction and user-friendly details, while Jingyang District focuses on smart management and efficient services, jointly promoting the modernization and refinement of public toilets in Deyang.
