Design of Container Mobile Toilets

Admin October 10, 2026

Designing container mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration of spatial planning, functional configuration, structural safety, and environmental protection needs. Below is a specific plan:

I. Basic Specifications and Spatial Layout
Container mobile toilets are typically based on standard containers for modification, with common dimensions of 2.2 meters × 3 meters (single container) or larger spaces achieved through the combination of multiple containers. For example, an 18-square-meter combined plan can include six squatting positions and a public handwashing area, meeting the needs of multiple people using it simultaneously. The interior must clearly divide male and female toilet areas: male toilets can be equipped with a combination of urinals and squatting toilets, while female toilets should have separate squatting positions and reserve a public handwashing area. The spatial layout should balance functionality and ease of passage, avoiding narrow aisles or insufficient spacing between facilities.

II. Functional Configuration and Facility Selection

  1. Sanitary Facilities: Basic configurations include separate squatting positions, urinals, and handwashing basins, with high-end designs adding toilets. Sanitary ware materials should be corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, such as ceramic or stainless steel.
  2. Water and Electricity Systems: Complete water and electricity lines, including water inlet pipes, drainage pipes, and electrical systems, should be pre-installed inside to ensure direct connection to municipal water supply or temporary water sources upon installation. Some scenarios may be equipped with water storage tanks and sewage tanks for independent water supply and drainage.
  3. Ventilation and Anti-Slip: The floor should use anti-slip tiles or anti-slip flooring to reduce the risk of slipping; walls and ceilings should be pre-installed with ventilation structures, such as exhaust fans or natural vents, to maintain air circulation.

III. Material and Structural Safety

  1. Frame Structure: Welded steel structures with anti-corrosion treatment (such as spraying anti-rust paint) should be used to ensure overall strength and durability, adapting to transportation and long-term use requirements.
  2. Exterior Walls and Wall Panels: The exterior walls can be made of thickened galvanized corrugated panels or metal carved panels, balancing strength and aesthetics; wall panels should use thermal insulation sandwich panels (such as polyurethane or rock wool filling) to improve thermal insulation performance and adapt to extreme weather conditions.

IV. Application of Environmental Protection Technologies
Some models can integrate wet microbial treatment technology, which decomposes organic matter in sewage through microorganisms, making the effluent meet the standards for reclaimed water reuse for flushing or green irrigation, reducing water consumption and environmental pollution.

V. Customization and Extended Functions
Support for design adjustments based on usage scenarios:

  • The exterior can be pre-installed with LOGO signs or customized coatings to match the image of enterprises or scenic spots;
  • The interior can be added with barrier-free facilities (such as handrails, low-position handwashing basins) or母婴室 (nursing rooms);
  • Materials can be replaced with fire-resistant panels or antibacterial panels to enhance safety and hygiene standards.

Such designs are suitable for scenarios such as oil fields, tourist attractions, and urban public spaces, offering advantages such as convenient transportation, reusability, and recyclability of building materials, aligning with the concept of sustainable development.
