Convenient Mobile Toilet Design
Admin September 20, 2026
The design of convenient mobile toilets can refer to the following two cases and general structural points:

I. Water Storage Tank Modification Design
- Main Structure: Select a large water storage tank and split it vertically in half with an angle grinder, retaining the upper half as the roof. Fix wooden strips around the tank body and add universal wheels for easy mobility; lay wooden boards on top of the wooden strips to increase height and form an operating space.
- Walls and Door: Cut an entrance on the side of the tank body, construct a door frame with sponge strips, and embed plastic soft boards to form an elevated wall; place the roof directly on top of the wooden strips and apply white waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics.
- Functional Modules:
- Drainage System: Drill a hole at the bottom of the tank to install a drain pipe as a floor drain, and drill a hole on the side to connect a tee, extending it to the entrance as a sink inlet pipe.
- Water Storage Device: Drill holes on the side and bottom of the roof plastic tank, install direct connectors, insert a small water storage tank, and connect with a water pipe to make a simple shower heater.
- Sanitary Facilities: Place a toilet and install a water tank, fix it with glass glue; connect the drain pipe to an external sewage tank.
- Door: Use foam strips to splice discarded honeycomb wooden boards to make a simple door, ensuring airtightness.
II. Chemical Tank Combination Design
- Main Structure: Select two chemical tanks, remove the top reinforcement bars and then cut off the lids, invert and fix the two tanks on the upper and lower layers of an iron frame, and seal the gaps in the middle with rectangular iron sheets and screws.
- Walls and Door: Cut out a door frame on one side, and cut an opening in the internal tank body synchronously; install two wooden doors with hinges and add handles to ensure smooth opening and closing.
- Functional Modules:
- Drainage System: Drill a hole at the corner of the tank to install a PVC pipe, apply sealant and then cut off the excess part, connecting it to a septic tank; lay water pipes flat on the bottom to the drain outlet.
- Sanitary Facilities: Place a toilet and install a water tank, fix it with glue; connect the inlet pipe to a sink and make a shower device with a PVC pipe.
- Ventilation and Sealing: Provide natural ventilation through the cut-outs in the tank body, and install sealing strips on the door to prevent odor diffusion.
III. General Structural Points
- Component Modules: Include fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices.
- Structural Classification:
- By Form: Monolithic structure (independent unit) or composite structure (multi-module combination).
- By Mobility Method: Hoisting/handling type (manual or mechanical movement), powered/towing type (vehicle traction).
- By Sewage Treatment: Flush type (requires a water source), waterless flush suction type (vacuum sewage suction), recirculating flush type (sewage purification and reuse), dry packing type (solid feces collection).
Design Core: It is necessary to balance lightweight, airtightness, ease of cleaning, and environmental friendliness. Materials should preferably be corrosion-resistant plastics or metals to ensure structural stability and compliance with hygiene standards.
