Door Locking for Container Mobile Houses

Admin September 15, 2026

There are various door locking methods and door type options for container mobile houses, including common types such as anti-theft plastic-steel doors, steel doors, and matching lock accessories. When choosing, it is necessary to consider factors such as airtightness, anti-theft performance, and ease of installation.

I. Common Door Types and Lock Configurations

  1. Anti-theft Plastic-Steel Doors
These doors are commonly used in construction site temporary buildings and container houses. Made of plastic-steel, they are equipped with stamped door lock rods and precision-cast hinges. The door lock design emphasizes anti-theft performance. The lock rod structure effectively prevents violent opening, and the precision-cast hinge ensures a tight fit between the door body and the door frame, enhancing overall security.

  2. Steel Doors
Steel doors adopt a composite process of cold-rolled steel plate embossing and wooden inner reinforcement. After chemical degreasing, rust removal, and phosphating treatment, the surface is electrostatically sprayed, combining aesthetics with corrosion resistance. High airtightness is achieved between the door frame and the door panel through sealing strips, reducing noise and dust entry. The lock configuration is usually a manually operated anti-theft lock with a security level of B, meeting basic anti-theft requirements.

  3. Lock Accessories
Individually sold lock accessories include steel door lock rods, door hinges, etc., suitable for the repair or upgrade of container doors. For example, stamped door lock rods can replace old locks to enhance anti-theft performance; precision-cast hinges can solve problems such as door sagging or difficult opening and closing.

II. Selection Considerations

  1. Airtightness
Container mobile houses are mostly used in outdoor environments, and the airtightness of the door body directly affects living comfort. When selecting, pay attention to the design of the sealing strip between the door frame and the door panel. For example, the sealing strip used in quick-assembly container house doors can be inserted into the sealing groove, effectively blocking wind, rain, and dust.

  2. Anti-theft Performance
Choose the anti-theft level according to the usage scenario. For temporary sites such as construction sites, basic anti-theft locks can be selected, while for container houses used for long-term residence or storing valuable items, it is recommended to choose steel doors with a higher security level or install additional anti-theft devices.

  3. Ease of Installation
Some container doors are designed for corrugated panels, with a simplified structure to reduce installation difficulty. For example, new container-specific doors optimize the cooperation between the door frame and the door panel, reducing modifications to the original container structure and being suitable for rapid deployment scenarios.
