Soundproofing of Container House Roof
Soundproofing of the roof of a container house can be achieved by filling high-density soundproofing materials, adding soundproofing and shock-absorbing sealing layers, and optimizing structural design. Details are as follows:

1. Filling high-density soundproofing materials
High-quality container houses are filled with high-density soundproofing materials inside the roof, such as high-density thermal insulation rock wool. This material not only effectively blocks external noise but also provides thermal insulation. Generally, when the thickness of the thermal insulation rock wool is not less than 75mm, better soundproofing and thermal insulation effects can be achieved. In addition to rock wool, glass wool and polyester fiber sound-absorbing cotton can also be used as soundproofing materials. Glass wool has the characteristics of good molding, low bulk density, and good sound-absorbing performance. The gradient sound-absorbing cotton among polyester fiber sound-absorbing cottons is a new product developed to replace harmful sound-absorbing materials such as glass fiber and rock wool. Its density is stepped, and it has good blocking effects on high-frequency, medium-frequency, and low-frequency noise.
2. Adding soundproofing and shock-absorbing sealing layers
Adding a soundproofing and shock-absorbing sealing layer at the ceiling of the roof wall can further isolate external noise. This layer can effectively reduce sound transmission and meet the soundproofing requirements of use scenarios such as homestays, teahouses, and shops with high soundproofing demands. At the same time, three-layer sealing strips should be installed at the splicing positions of door frames, window frames, and wall panels, and weather-resistant sealant should be applied to all splicing gaps to prevent sound from entering the room through the gaps.
3. Optimizing structural design
Reasonable structural design also helps improve the soundproofing effect of the roof. For example, using the broken-bridge thermal insulation process to block heat conduction can also reduce sound transmission to a certain extent. In addition, the material standards of the main structure of the container house also affect the soundproofing effect. The section steel used for the main frame should have a thickness of not less than 2.0mm, and the overall thickness of the wall panels should be not less than 50mm, which can enhance the overall structural strength of the house and reduce noise generated by external vibrations.
