Container House Rental Price List

Admin September 17, 2026

The rental prices of container houses vary depending on their specifications. The rental ranges and deposit standards for common specifications are as follows, with some projects' rent calculated by area and potentially increasing annually.

I. Rental Standards by Specification

  1. 3x3x2.8 meters (9 square meters)

    • Daily rent starts at approximately 3 yuan, monthly rent starts at approximately 90 yuan, and a deposit of over 3,000 yuan is required.
    • This specification is suitable for single occupancy or temporary office use, offering lower rent but limited space and a relatively low deposit threshold.
  2. 3x6x2.8 meters (18 square meters, standard 6-meter length)

    • Daily rent fluctuates around 6 yuan, monthly rent is approximately 180 yuan, and the deposit is about 5,000 yuan.
    • The space is doubled compared to the 9-square-meter specification, accommodating 2-3 people for residence or serving as a small studio, with moderate rent and deposit levels.
  3. 3x7x2.8 meters (21 square meters)

    • Daily rent is approximately 7 yuan, monthly rent is approximately 210 yuan, and the deposit is about 6,000 yuan.
    • The space is further expanded, suitable for family residence or multi-person office use, with higher rent and deposit levels but still offering better cost-effectiveness than traditional buildings.

II. Rental Model Calculated by Area
Some projects adopt a billing method of 'area × unit price', with a base price as low as 39.6 yuan/square meter/month. For example, renting an 18-square-meter container house would result in a minimum monthly rent of 18 × 39.6 = 712.8 yuan (actual rent may be higher due to factors such as configuration and location).

III. Rent Escalation Clauses
Some rental contracts stipulate a small annual increase in rent during the lease term, commonly at a rate of 5% per year. For example, an 18-square-meter container with an initial monthly rent of 180 yuan may have its rent adjusted to 180 × 1.05 = 189 yuan in the following year. Escalation clauses are typically related to factors such as market rent fluctuations and house maintenance costs and should be clearly agreed upon at the time of contract signing.

IV. Other Influencing Factors
Rent may vary due to factors such as region, the newness of the house, and supporting facilities (such as air conditioning and restrooms). For example, container houses in first-tier cities or around scenic spots may have higher rents than the above standards; customized houses with independent restrooms may see rent increases of 30%-50%. It is recommended to confirm the specific configuration and cost details with the supplier before renting.
