Container House Photo Decoration
Admin September 15, 2026
Container house photo decoration can be achieved through various design elements and styles. Here are some specific plans:

Exterior Decoration
- Colors and Coatings: The original dark blue tone of the container can be retained to showcase a mechanical aesthetic. Alternatively, it can be painted with a smooth black coating to create a solemn and dignified atmosphere, or other bright colors can be used to add a lively touch. For example, a young man painted the exterior of the container black and paired it with a natural wood interior, creating a striking color contrast and a visual impact.
- Door and Window Design: Increasing the number and size of doors and windows improves lighting and ventilation. For instance, opening a door in the middle to connect to a patio and using lifting rods at the four corners of the roof ensures light and air circulation. Additionally, large floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights can be designed to enhance indoor lighting, as seen in container houses in Costa Rica, which extensively use floor-to-ceiling windows and roof skylights for excellent lighting.
- Exterior Structure Expansion: Expanding an open-air balcony area on the top and designing outdoor leisure spaces around it, such as winding staircases, delicate gravel paths, and hanging neon light chains. Two sisters created a luxurious container mansion by adding an open-air balcony on the top and designing the surrounding area as an outdoor leisure zone, full of childlike charm and elegance.
Interior Decoration
- Decoration Style: A minimalist style can be created with a natural wood color as the main tone, mimicking a forest setting, using a linear kitchen to save space, and customizing foldable beds to increase space flexibility. Alternatively, a fresh and simple style can be designed with unified natural wood furniture and white decor, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. A mixed style that combines technology and nature can also be created, with a flowing layout for the living, dining, and kitchen areas, and using a grid ceiling and a combination of circular and square windows to build a tech-inspired space.
- Storage Design: Make full use of space to set up cabinets and shelves, such as installing double-door cabinets and open shelves in the kitchen, and filling the walls and ceiling of the bedroom with round and square cabinets of different sizes to increase storage space.
- Soft Furnishing Matching: Showcase the homeowner's love for life through decorative details such as flower arrangements, small ornaments, and wall paintings. For example, placing flower arrangements and small ornaments on a chest of drawers and hanging paintings on the wall; placing plants and delicate ornaments in the corners of the bathroom to add to the joy of life.
