Images of Network Connection for Container Houses

Admin September 16, 2026

Although we cannot directly provide images of network connections for container houses, we can describe in detail the common methods and key points for connecting networks in container houses.

External Line Connection

  • Determine the Access Point: First, identify the source of the external network line, which commonly comes from nearby fiber optic access points, telephone line access points, or wireless base stations. For container houses, a suitable location is usually chosen on the exterior of the house as the line access point. This location should facilitate connection to external network facilities while considering safety factors such as waterproofing and lightning protection. For example, if there is a fiber optic access box nearby, a fiber optic line can be drawn from the box and connected to the container house along a pre-planned route.
  • Line Laying: Choose an appropriate line laying method based on the distance from the access point to the container house and the actual environment. If the distance is short and the environment is simple, open line laying can be used directly, with the line fixed to the wall or ground using wire ducts or conduits, ensuring that the line is not damaged by external forces. If the distance is long or the environment is complex, such as needing to cross roads or green belts, concealed line laying should be used, burying the line underground with a burial depth of generally no less than 0.7 meters and placing clear markings above the line for future maintenance and inspection.

Internal Line Arrangement

  • Network Equipment Installation: Inside the container house, network equipment such as routers and switches needs to be installed. The router is generally placed in the center of the house or near the main usage area to ensure uniform signal coverage. The switch is installed reasonably according to the number and location of devices to be connected, usually in a cabinet or a dedicated equipment rack.
  • Line Connection: Connect the externally introduced line to the corresponding interface of the router or switch, and then use network cables to connect each device to the switch or router according to the distribution of internal devices. During the connection process, note that the length of the network cable should not be too long, generally not exceeding 100 meters, to avoid affecting the network signal quality. At the same time, ensure that the interfaces of the network cables are firmly connected to avoid network interruptions caused by looseness.

Precautions

  • Waterproofing and Moisture Resistance: The external environment of container houses is complex. When connecting network cables, pay attention to waterproofing and moisture resistance, especially at the line access points and interfaces. Use waterproof tape or sealant for sealing to prevent rainwater from seeping in and causing short circuits in the lines.
  • Lightning Protection: To prevent lightning strikes from damaging network equipment and lines, install lightning protection devices on the exterior of the container house and properly ground the network lines to the lightning protection devices.
