Container House Job Responsibilities

Admin September 13, 2026

The work content for container houses varies by role, as follows:

Production Stages at a Prefabricated Container House Factory

In the production stages at a prefabricated container house factory, the work covers multiple areas. First is structural design and detailing, the foundation of the entire production process, which requires precise planning of the container house structural frame to ensure stability and safety. Next is section cutting, cutting raw materials into the appropriate sizes and shapes according to design requirements. Frame welding joins the cut sections into a solid frame structure. Then comes envelope panel installation, fitting enclosure panels to form a closed space. Insulation layer filling is also essential, effectively improving the thermal performance of the house. Door and window installation provides access as well as daylighting and ventilation. Pre-embedding of water and electrical lines plans the utilities in advance for later occupancy. Finally, interior finishing and trim refines the interior to improve appearance and comfort.

Container Design Work

Container design work mainly centers on the integrated design and development of energy storage systems. On one hand, it involves defining design standards and specifications and selecting related components, covering containers, HVAC, fire protection, batteries, PCS, power distribution, monitoring systems, EMS systems, and more, to ensure the rationality and compatibility of the overall energy storage system. On the other hand, it requires verifying the rationality of integrated product layout, structural design, thermal design, EMS, and related functions, comparing advantages and disadvantages with competing products to continually optimize the design. In addition, it includes analyzing and optimizing various energy storage application models, leading and advancing the optimization and improvement of core metrics for the integrated system, while also being able to independently complete energy storage technical responses, proposal design, budgeting and quotations, and project tracking and summaries.

General Worker / Operator

General workers or operators are mainly responsible for container assembly and repair. In assembly, according to process requirements, they use tools and equipment such as screwdrivers, pliers, electric welding equipment, hand drills, and angle grinders to assemble container components such as floor panels, side panels, roof panels, and doors. In repair, they inspect the container's structure and functions, identify and fix issues such as damaged parts, water leaks, and rust, performing welding, cutting, patching, and related work.

Plant Manager (Habitable Container Houses)

The plant manager is fully responsible for production management of habitable container houses, including organization and scheduling, rational division of labor, clarifying responsibilities for each role, and completing all work assigned to the department. They are also responsible for product quality management and workplace safety management, improving the production system, and establishing and supervising the implementation of our company's corresponding production management systems. They also supervise and regulate process, quality, equipment, cost, and output indicators during production, stay informed of quality status throughout the process, promptly resolve issues that arise in production, and understand the work status of subordinates.
