Admin September 17, 2026

There are various styles and functional layout cases of container house interior design drawings available for reference.

I. Design Cases by Multiple Designers and Agencies
Numerous designers and design agencies have participated in the interior design of container houses, such as Huaniandai Design Office and Yanxu Design Agency. These designs cover different functional areas including study rooms, secondary bedrooms, bedroom floors, corridor vestibules, kitchen islands, and balcony gardens. Different designers and agencies will conduct personalized design planning based on the size, shape of the container, and the needs of the users, creating unique interior spaces. For example, some designs may focus more on the openness and transparency of the space, adopting an open layout; while others emphasize functional zoning, dividing each area more clearly.

II. Renovation Case of American Homeowner Kenneth's 16.6㎡ Container
Kenneth transformed a 16.6㎡ steel container into a beautiful home. On the left side of the house, there is a set of custom-made sofas, with a wall bed hidden behind the wardrobe. This design makes full use of the vertical space, combining rest and storage functions within the limited space. On the right side, there are two sets of brown small cabinets for storing miscellaneous items. Looking inward, there are the kitchen, office area, and the innermost bathroom, with the dining area opposite the kitchen. This layout is compact and reasonable, with each functional area being both independent and interconnected. The sleeping area is at the door, and the custom-made sofa can be turned into a large bed by opening the wall bed in the wardrobe, meeting the usage needs in different scenarios.

III. Case of a 30㎡ 12x2.5m Container House
This container house features a pastoral luxury style, integrating stone and wood designs, and includes an outdoor pool area. In terms of interior design, a large amount of natural materials may be used, such as the texture of wood and the feel of stone, to create a warm and natural atmosphere. The design of the floor plan will fully consider the distribution of each functional area to ensure reasonable space utilization and smooth traffic flow.

IV. Renovation Case of a 15㎡ Container by a Couple
The couple transformed a 15㎡ container into a small home. The living room combines multiple functions, and the background wall design adds a sense of layering and aesthetic appeal to the space. The kitchen adopts a linear design, saving space and facilitating operation. The bedroom has an integrated design, with a custom-made foldable bed. When not in use, the bed can be folded up to increase activity space. The interior of the container door is renovated with wood veneer decoration and designed with shelves, which is both beautiful and practical. The rounded edges of the bathroom improve safety during use.
