Container House for a Family of Three

Admin September 17, 2026

There are various types of container houses designed specifically for a family of three, each with distinct features. Here is a detailed introduction:

The first type is the foundation-stable container house. Its framework adopts a stable design with columns on all sides and upper and lower beams. This structure provides strong support for the house, ensuring overall sturdiness and excellent load-bearing capacity. During construction, high-quality steel is used and fixed with corner fittings and carriage bolts, further enhancing the stability of the entire structure. This enables it to withstand extreme weather conditions, offering a safe and reliable living environment for occupants. The wall sections are made of rock wool sandwich panels, which have numerous advantages. They not only offer good fire resistance and thermal insulation, effectively maintaining indoor temperature in cold weather and reducing heat loss, but also blocking external heat in hot weather. Additionally, rock wool sandwich panels can effectively isolate noise and vibrations, creating a quiet and comfortable living space for a family of three.

The second type is the rural-suitable three-bedroom, one-living-room container house. It uses specially designed steel framework modules, and the installation is as convenient as building with blocks. The biggest advantage of this design is the short construction period. The factory pre-fabricates each module, and after transportation to the site, assembly can be completed simply by screwing, reducing the construction period by 80% compared to traditional building methods. It is also relatively cost-effective, with prices ranging from 8,000 to tens of thousands, saving at least 40% compared to brick-and-mortar structures. However, there are some considerations when purchasing and using this type of container house. To ensure the stability of the house, a concrete foundation must be properly constructed. In windy areas, the house should be reinforced with cement. For the insulation layer, it is recommended to choose rock wool or polyurethane materials to ensure the house's thermal insulation performance.

The third type is the event-renovated container house, taking the container-renovated house where the Chinese men's basketball team stayed during the Nagoya Asian Games as an example. Although it is often referred to as a "container" in appearance, the interior has been carefully renovated. Each set contains two households, with one household having a two-bedroom, one-living-room layout that can meet the living needs of a family of three. The house is equipped with an independent toilet, bathroom, dressing room, as well as daily life facilities such as a refrigerator and washing machine. The bed size is 195×90 centimeters, and for tall occupants, the mattress can be extended. Only one air conditioner is installed in the entire house to meet indoor temperature regulation needs.
