Container House Demolition Price
Admin September 15, 2026
There is no unified standard for the demolition price of container houses, which is influenced by factors such as house structure, demolition difficulty, and regional differences, generally ranging from 30 yuan to over 150 yuan per square meter. Here are some main factors affecting the price and the price ranges in different scenarios:

House Structure and Demolition Difficulty:
- For simple, small-area container houses, demolition costs may be relatively low. For example, demolition costs for some light steel structures or single-story container houses may range from 30 yuan to 50 yuan per square meter.
- For container houses with complex structures, high ceilings, or special equipment (such as crane beams), demolition costs will increase significantly. Demolition of such houses may require the use of large machinery, and the demolition process is more complex, so costs may range from 80 yuan to over 150 yuan per square meter.
Regional Differences:
- Labor costs and price levels vary across regions, so demolition costs also differ. Generally, demolition costs in first-tier cities are higher than those in second- and third-tier cities.
Demolition Method and Use of Machinery:
- If manual labor combined with small machinery is used for demolition, costs are relatively low, but efficiency is slower.
- If large machinery (such as cranes, long-arm shears, etc.) is used for demolition, efficiency will increase significantly, but machinery rental costs will also increase accordingly, which may lead to an increase in overall demolition costs.
Waste Disposal and Scrap Material Handling:
- Construction waste generated during the demolition process needs to be cleared and transported, which also incurs certain costs. Waste disposal costs are generally calculated per cubic meter, ranging from 50 yuan to 200 yuan per cubic meter, depending on the type of waste and transportation distance.
- If the materials from the demolished container house can be recycled, such as scrap steel, the residual value of these materials can offset part of the demolition costs. However, it should be noted that scrap material recycling prices are subject to market fluctuations.
