Design Drawings of Container Deformed Houses
Admin September 17, 2026
Currently, there are no specific design drawings directly provided for container deformed houses, but key design points can be summarized based on multiple design cases:

Suspended Container House
- Structure and Support: Recycled shipping containers are used to build an elevated house supported by metal columns. A V-shaped support system is employed to reduce the amount of concrete and the foundation area. The foundation adopts a shallow foundation form, lifting the entire building off the natural ground and making it hover among the native forests.
- Space and Landscape: Surrounded by native trees, the elevated house has windows at the same height as the tree canopies. The balconies are staggered among the branches, and there are two wooden platform balconies, providing spaces for interaction with the trees and views overlooking the rural scenery.
- Materials and Environmental Protection: The interior walls and ceilings are made of recycled wood from demolition. The roof is greened and has rainwater harvesting and utilization functions. It has excellent thermal and sound insulation properties. The site retains its original topography, and only a minimal amount of concrete is used in the foundation.

- Space Transformation: Two overlapping container units are installed on the roof, turning the original single house into two houses and leaving a large balcony, which improves the lighting conditions of the house.
- Appearance and Cost: In addition to the container structure, the house is decorated with wooden panels on the outside, which is both aesthetically pleasing and heat-insulating. The manufacturing cost is 50% lower than that of traditional reinforced concrete houses.

- 12 Containers Transformed into a Mansion: Twelve containers are enclosed by glass curtain walls and steel structures. Inside, a double straight-run staircase is used, and the living and dining areas are in a large shared space. On the first floor, there is a living room with a fireplace and an open kitchen. The fireplace in the second-floor bedroom is on the same axis as the living room on the first floor, and the outdoor environment is lush and green.
- 6 Containers Combined into a Mansion: Built on a hillside according to the terrain, a courtyard is naturally formed between the two blocks, and the rooms are equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows.
- Container Loft: By stacking several containers, an open dining area is left in the middle of the house, and the overhanging eaves are enclosed with curtains to form a balcony.
