Construction Site Portable Toilet
A construction site portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole and placed at construction sites and other locations to provide toilet services for the public and clients.

I. Basic Components A construction site portable toilet generally consists of components such as a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. These components work together to achieve the basic functions of the toilet, such as fecal storage, toilet use, and washing.
II. Material Development In terms of material usage, construction site portable toilets have transitioned from traditional materials like wood to modern materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. Traditional wood is prone to moisture absorption and decay, resulting in a relatively short service life. In contrast, fiberglass-reinforced plastic offers advantages like light weight, high strength, and corrosion resistance, while polyethylene has good chemical stability and weather resistance. The application of these modern materials has significantly improved the durability and reliability of portable toilets.
III. Classification by Structure and Mobility Method According to the structural form, they can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. The single-structure type is relatively simple and suitable for locations with limited space or single needs. The composite-structure type is more complex and can meet diverse functional requirements. Based on the mobility method, they can be classified as lifting/handling portable toilets and powered/trailer-mounted portable toilets. Lifting/handling types are suitable for short-distance movement or when site conditions permit. Powered/trailer-mounted types can be towed by vehicles for long-distance movement, offering higher flexibility.
IV. Classification by Sewage Treatment Method According to the sewage treatment method, construction site portable toilets can be categorized as water-flush and waterless-suction types, circulating water-flush types, and dry-packing types. Water-flush types are clean and hygienic but require an adequate water supply. Waterless-suction types use suction equipment to treat feces and are suitable for water-scarce areas. Circulating water-flush types enable the recycling of water resources, saving water. Dry-packing types package feces for easy transportation and subsequent treatment.
