Dimensions of Mobile Public Toilets at Construction Sites

Admin October 11, 2026

The dimensions of mobile public toilets at construction sites vary depending on the type and usage requirements. Here are some common standard dimensions:

Single-stall mobile toilets are the most basic configuration at construction sites, with their dimensions designed to balance user comfort and space utilization. The standard size of a single-person mobile toilet is typically 110 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, suitable for most construction site scenarios. If space is limited, a mini single-person model can be chosen, with dimensions of 100 cm in length, 100 cm in width, and 220 cm in height, although the internal activity space will be reduced accordingly. From a general perspective, the width of a single stall is usually between 1.0 and 1.2 meters, the depth between 1.0 and 1.5 meters, and the height between 2.0 and 2.5 meters, with specific values adjusted according to actual needs.

Multi-stall combined mobile toilets require dimensions that expand based on the number of stalls. For example, a double-stall mobile public toilet typically has an overall width of about 2.0 to 2.4 meters, with a length similar to that of a single stall (about 1.1 to 1.2 meters), but with space reserved for a central aisle. A double-person mobile toilet usually measures 180 cm in length, 110 cm in width, and 230 cm in height, accommodating two people simultaneously. For a two-stall unit, the length may reach 2.4 to 3.0 meters, while the width remains at 1.0 to 1.2 meters. Larger container-type mobile public toilets can be over 6 meters in length and over 2.5 meters in width, suitable for construction sites with a high density of personnel or temporary event venues.

Mobile toilets with special requirements need dimensions that meet specific functional needs. Accessible toilets are a typical example, requiring a width of at least 1.5 meters and a depth of at least 1.8 meters to ensure wheelchair access and turning space. The internal clear width should typically be at least 1.5 meters, and the clear depth at least 1.8 meters, equipped with facilities such as grab bars and low-level sinks. Additionally, some construction sites may require customized mobile public toilets with management or storage rooms, with dimensions calculated based on the叠加 (superimposed) functional modules. For example, the width of a management room may increase by 0.8 to 1.2 meters.

It should be noted that the above dimensions are for reference only. When customizing, factors such as the terrain of the construction site, the number of users, and transportation conditions should be considered comprehensively to ensure that the public toilets meet functional requirements while complying with on-site space constraints.
