Construction Site Mobile Dry Toilet

Admin September 24, 2026

A construction site mobile dry toilet is a temporary toilet facility suitable for construction sites and other locations, featuring mobility, modularity, and ease of transportation.

Classification by Structural Form

  • Single-unit Mobile Toilet: This structure is relatively independent, typically consisting of a complete toilet unit. It has the advantages of simple structure and easy installation, making it suitable for construction sites with smaller scales and relatively simple toilet facility needs.
  • Composite-structure Mobile Toilet: Composed of multiple functional units, in addition to the basic toilet unit, it may also include a hand-washing area, a management room, etc. It offers richer functions and can meet the diverse needs of personnel on larger construction sites.

Classification by Mobility Method

  • Lifting and Handling Mobile Toilet: It is moved by lifting equipment such as cranes or by manual handling. It is suitable for construction sites with low mobility frequency and relatively open spaces.
  • Powered and Trailer-mounted Mobile Toilet: It is equipped with its own power unit for self-propelled movement or can be transported by being towed by a vehicle. It offers greater flexibility and convenience in movement and is suitable for construction sites that require frequent relocation of the toilet.

Classification by Sewage Treatment Method

  • Dry-packing Mobile Toilet: It does not require water. Excreta is collected and treated through a special packing device, avoiding sewage discharge issues. It is environmentally friendly and easy to clean and transport. The construction site mobile dry toilet is likely to fall into this category.
  • Waterless Suction Mobile Toilet: It also does not rely on water flushing. Instead, it uses a suction device to extract and centrally treat excrement, reducing water consumption. It is suitable for construction sites with scarce water resources.

Design Principles

The overall design adheres to the principles of mobility and convenience, economic durability; environmental protection and ecological friendliness; and enhancing efficiency and promoting humanity. In terms of material selection, lightweight and durable materials are used as much as possible to ensure structural robustness while controlling the height and width of the toilet. It is also equipped with a complete and reasonable mobile device for easy transfer between different construction sites.
