Configuration of Mobile Toilets on Construction Site Floors
The configuration of mobile toilets on construction site floors requires comprehensive consideration of multiple factors, including the starting floor and interval for installation, type and structure, location, sanitation management and maintenance measures, as well as internal configurations.

Starting Floor and Installation Interval: There are generally two planning methods. One is to start installing from the 8th floor and then place one every 4 floors. This method is suitable for most conventional construction sites. The other is to plan based on the height, area, and number of workers on the construction floors. For example, a temporary toilet point can be set up every two floors or every 500 square meters. This method is more flexible and can better meet the actual needs of different construction sites.
Type and Structure: Most mobile toilets are of the portable type, primarily made of lightweight and durable polyethylene or steel structures. These materials possess properties such as corrosion resistance and UV protection, enabling them to adapt to the variable outdoor climate conditions. Each toilet compartment is usually set up independently, with a collection box at the bottom for temporary storage of waste. Some toilets are also designed with simple ventilation openings to ensure air circulation inside the compartments.
Location: The choice of location is crucial. Toilets should be placed as close as possible to stairwells or passageways to facilitate easy access for workers. At the same time, they should avoid major material storage areas and hazardous work zones to ensure safety and convenience. Moreover, toilet points will be adjusted according to the construction progress to meet the needs of different construction stages.
Sanitation Management and Maintenance Measures: The construction site will arrange for dedicated personnel to regularly clean and disinfect the toilets, with the frequency depending on the number of users, such as once every half-day or every day. The waste liquid and solids in the collection boxes will be handled by professional cleaning staff and transported to designated locations for harmless disposal. In addition, the toilets will be equipped with simple sanitary items, such as toilet paper and hand soap, and some even have temporary hand-washing facilities to meet the sanitation needs of workers.
Internal Configurations: The basic configurations usually include lighting systems, sockets, distribution boxes, exhaust fans, etc., which can meet the basic usage needs of workers. To enhance the user experience, variable-frequency air conditioners and other equipment can also be installed to provide a more comfortable usage environment for workers.
