Prefabricated Public Toilets: In 2019, Conghua integrated the rural revitalization strategy and constructed four high-standard demonstration public toilets at the parking lot on Fengxi Street in Nanping Village, at the entrance Phoenix Exhibition Archway, in Xihe Village, and in Xitang Village. These toilets are built using factory-modular production of standardized prefabricated components, which are then assembled on-site, making them fixed permanent public toilets. They offer numerous advantages, with ecological and environmental protection being a key feature, having minimal impact on the environment during construction and use. They have an aesthetically pleasing appearance that blends well with the surrounding environment and are movable, allowing them to be relocated in their entirety if the land use changes, without causing resource waste.
Mobile Air-Conditioned Toilet Vehicles: Purchased and managed by the Conghua District Urban Appearance and Environmental Sanitation Management Office, these vehicles resemble ordinary passenger buses in appearance. The passenger cabin is equipped with four squat-type toilet stalls and provides free toilet paper to users. In hot weather, air conditioning can be turned on to offer a relatively comfortable environment. The vehicles are equipped with feces collection facilities, and the urban management department dispatches three vehicle trips daily for feces suction services to ensure the hygiene of the toilets. These toilet vehicles are flexible and can be driven to wherever they are needed. For example, during the Conghua District Spring Festival Flower Market, they are parked in the parking lot beside the market entrance for public use.
Other Related Toilet Facilities: There is the Liangping Yingcun Public Toilet at the parking lot in Yingcun, Conghua District, Guangzhou, which is a public facility that meets the basic toilet needs of surrounding personnel. The parking lot at the Getang Village Committee beside Conghua Traditional Chinese Medicine Town is free, with a clean and safe environment, and there are restrooms in the scenic area, providing a solution for the urgent needs of those camping nearby.
