Chongming County Municipal Mobile Toilets
Chongming County (now Chongming District, Shanghai) mainly involves two aspects in municipal mobile toilets: the renovation of sanitary public toilets and the rental services of mobile toilets.
Regarding the renovation of sanitary public toilets, this year, Chongming District has completed the age-friendly and child-friendly renovation of 53 sanitary public toilets. The renovated toilets have significantly improved environments and more complete facilities, fully meeting the toilet needs of different groups such as children and the elderly. The specific renovation contents are diverse. In terms of safety facilities, full-process handrails and corner anti-collision strips have been added, providing safety protection for people with mobility issues and children. In terms of sanitary facilities, children's hand basins and children's urinals have been installed for the convenience of children. Special toilets with both age-friendly and child-friendly functions have also been built, equipped with smart toilets, emergency call devices, handrails, children's toilet seat cushions, etc., greatly enhancing the comfort and convenience of use. In addition, there have been breakthroughs in intelligent construction. Sensors are installed on each toilet door to monitor the usage status of toilet stalls in real time, making it easier for users to quickly find available stalls. The toilets are also equipped with wheelchairs and walking sticks for the elderly, further reflecting humanized care.
In terms of mobile toilet rental services, there are several mobile toilet rental service providers in Chongming. Mobile toilets are divided into basic models and high-end customized models. The rental fee for basic mobile toilets is approximately 200 - 400 yuan per day, while that for high-end customized models can exceed 800 yuan. During the peak rental season, prices may increase by 15% - 20%. The rental method is relatively convenient. Reservations can be made by phone or through online platforms.
