Chaozhou Container Building House

Admin September 15, 2026

Chaozhou container building houses are characterized by modularity and disassembly, suitable for construction site dormitories, temporary offices, cultural tourism homestays, and other scenarios. However, attention should be paid to material fire prevention, structural stability, and compliance approval issues.

I. Product Types and Structural Characteristics

Chaozhou container building houses are mainly divided into three categories:

  1. Demountable Integrated Houses: Connected with demountable fasteners, components can be sorted, packed, and reassembled to maintain the original structural form. The enclosure panels have basic waterproof properties, suitable for staged operational housing or short-term camp construction. Repeated use can reduce building material consumption.
  2. Modular Portable Panel Houses: With hot-dip galvanized cold-formed steel sections as the framework, paired with fire-resistant polyurethane sandwich panels or rock wool panels, they offer thermal insulation and fire resistance. They can be used independently or stacked in multiple layers, suitable for construction site dormitories, office areas, and temporary meeting rooms.
  3. Light Steel Keel Houses: Utilizing cold-formed thin-walled light steel keel load-bearing structures, walls are filled with insulation materials, and the appearance and layout can be flexibly customized, suitable for self-built houses, homestays, and scenic area supporting housing.

II. Safety Risks and Fire Prevention Requirements

Although container houses are convenient, they pose fire safety hazards:

  1. Material Hazards: Some products use flammable sandwich materials such as polystyrene and polyurethane foam to save costs, which can easily ignite fires when exposed to open flames or electrical faults, with fast combustion speeds and high toxicity.
  2. Fire Extinguishing Difficulty: Fires spread rapidly, and the iron sheet enclosure makes it difficult for water cannons to extinguish fires, with a high risk of collapse.
  3. Escape Difficulty: Combustion produces thick black smoke and accumulates toxic gases, increasing the risk of casualties.
Safety Recommendations: Prioritize the use of Class A fire-resistant materials such as rock wool panels and fire-resistant cotton; protect wires and cables with sleeves, maintain a safe distance for open flame operations; equip with fire extinguishing equipment and maintain a minimum distance of 6 meters between modules.

III. Application Scenarios and Compliance Requirements

  1. Temporary Housing: Scenarios such as construction site dormitories, field operation houses, and office buildings need to comply with temporary building regulations, with material fire resistance ratings meeting standards.
  2. Cultural Tourism Homestays: For long-term residence, building approval is required, and structural drawings should be provided to avoid the risk of illegal construction; construction on cultivated land and basic farmland is strictly prohibited, and forestry approval is required for forest land.
  3. Cross-border Projects: Exported products need to meet the certification standards of the target country, with attention to cross-border compliance and low-carbon attributes.
