Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual design capacity of 19,000 container-integrated housing units, providing robust production capacity support for container mobile housing in Changting County and helping to meet market demand.
In terms of application cases, the Meilin Night Market in Changting County stands as a prime example. Designed, constructed, and operated by CSCEC Seventh Engineering Bureau Haixia Company, this project utilizes container houses produced by the Changting Southeast Integrated Container Housing Factory. Located in the heart of Changting County, it represents the region's first urban renewal demonstration project, covering an area of approximately 5,000 square meters. The construction includes the renovation of two old workshops and the construction of 73 new containers, aiming to create a distinctive container-style night market that integrates food, cultural creativity, and social elements. This application not only demonstrates the feasibility and advantages of container mobile housing in urban renewal projects but also provides local residents with a new leisure and entertainment venue, boosting the local economy.
