Cement Houses and Prefabricated Houses
Prefabricated houses within cement houses are assembled reinforced concrete full-frame shear wall structure houses with factory prefabrication and on-site assembly as the core processes, offering advantages such as efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, and environmental friendliness.

I. Construction Process and Efficiency
The core components of prefabricated houses (such as walls, floors, and beams) are cast in one piece using high-precision molds at specialized production bases. Each module integrates a steel reinforcement framework, insulation layers, waterproofing layers, and pre-installed piping. For example, a 30㎡ module takes only 7 days for factory prefabrication. After being transported to the site, three workers with a crane can complete the installation of a single module in 4 hours, and the entire assembly of a 100㎡ house takes only 2 days. This "building block" approach significantly shortens the construction period, making it particularly suitable for projects with tight deadlines.
II. Structural Performance and Safety
The materials used are C30-C40 grade concrete with embedded Φ8-Φ12 steel reinforcement mesh, achieving a compressive strength of 25-30MPa, which is 1.5 times that of traditional brick-and-mortar structures. The walls have pre-cut slots for EPS insulation panels, which, when inserted on-site, improve thermal insulation by 40%, ensuring warmth in winter and coolness in summer. The modules are connected using pre-stressed bolts and welded steel plates to form an integrated frame, with a wind resistance rating of Level 10 and a seismic resistance rating of 7 degrees (equivalent to the destructive force of the Wenchuan earthquake), meeting the safety requirements of most regions.
III. Cost-Effectiveness and Economic Advantages
Taking a 120㎡ self-built rural house as an example, the cost of a traditional brick-and-mortar structure is approximately 180,000-220,000 yuan (including labor), while the cost of the main modules for a prefabricated house is only 120,000-150,000 yuan. With interior and exterior decoration, the total cost can be controlled within 200,000 yuan, representing a 30% reduction in overall costs. Additionally, reports indicate that the cost per square meter of a prefabricated house is around 300 yuan, and the entire house can be lifted and installed in just 4 hours. With a warranty period of up to 70 years, long-term maintenance costs are also lower.
IV. Environmental Friendliness and Sustainability
Factory production allows for full process control, with a 95% recycling rate for offcuts. There is no dust or sewage discharge at the construction site, and construction waste is only 10% of that from traditional construction methods. Environmentally friendly concrete and water-based paints are used, with formaldehyde emissions ≤0.05mg/m³, well below the national standard of 0.1mg/m³, supporting "immediate occupancy" and aligning with green building trends.
