Cement Prefabricated House Roof Insulation
Roof insulation for cement prefabricated houses can be achieved through methods such as cement foaming technology, the combination of insulation materials and components, and the selection of prefabricated insulation panels.

Cement Foaming Roof Insulation Technology This technology involves mixing cement with a foaming agent to form foam concrete with a closed-cell structure, which is then directly poured onto the roof surface. The evenly distributed air bubbles within the foam concrete effectively block heat conduction paths and reduce heat transfer efficiency. Its advantages include convenient construction, the ability to form an integral structure with the roof, and properties such as fire resistance and durability. During construction, it is necessary to control the proportion of the foaming agent and the pouring thickness, which typically ranges from 5 to 10 centimeters. A greater thickness generally results in better insulation, but structural load-bearing safety must also be considered.
Combination of Insulation Materials and Cement Prefabricated Components During the factory prefabrication stage, insulation materials are embedded within cement components. For example, polystyrene foam boards or rock wool layers can be placed within roof prefabricated panels to create integrated "structure-insulation-protection" components. Polystyrene foam boards have low density and a small thermal conductivity coefficient, making them suitable for mild climate zones. Rock wool boards offer excellent high-temperature resistance and fire performance, making them ideal for high-temperature or fire-resistant scenarios. After installation, these components ensure a seamless connection between the insulation layer and the structural layer, reducing thermal bridging effects and providing stable long-term insulation performance.
Selection of Cement Prefabricated Insulation Panels Various specifications of cement prefabricated insulation panels are available on the market, allowing for selection based on specific needs. For example, square or rectangular insulation panels should have a flexural strength that meets the roof load requirements (typically ≥1.5 MPa) and a compressive strength of ≥10 MPa to ensure durability. The operating temperature range should cover local climate conditions (e.g., -20°C to 80°C). Prices vary significantly depending on brand and specifications, with ordinary polystyrene composite panels costing approximately 10-30 yuan per square meter and rock wool composite panels, which are more expensive due to higher costs, costing around 30-60 yuan per square meter. During installation, attention should be paid to the treatment of gaps between panels, which should be filled with specialized sealants or joint-filling materials to prevent heat loss through the gaps.
Construction Key Points Regardless of the method used, it is essential to ensure that the roof substrate is flat and dry to avoid gaps between the insulation layer and the substrate. If external insulation panels are used, a waterproof layer should be installed to prevent rainwater infiltration. If built-in insulation components are used, enhanced sealing treatment should be applied at the component joints. Additionally, the roof slope should be reasonably designed to ensure smooth drainage and prevent water accumulation, which could lead to insulation layer failure due to moisture.
