Production Time of Cement Prefabricated Houses

Admin September 18, 2026

The production time of cement prefabricated houses varies depending on the construction method, which can be divided into the following three scenarios:

If cement prefabricated house technology is adopted, its core advantage lies in the extremely fast speed of main body hoisting. Taking villas as an example, the construction of the main structure can be completed in just 4 hours. However, it should be noted that this time only covers the assembly of the main frame. To achieve move-in readiness, foundation treatment and simple decoration are also required. The time for foundation treatment depends on the geological conditions; for example, soft soil foundations may require longer reinforcement times. Simple decoration usually takes several days. Overall, for a prefabricated cement house of about 100 square meters, it takes only 15 - 30 days from component transportation to on-site assembly completion. Adding foundation treatment and subsequent decoration, move-in readiness can be achieved within two months.

If modular cement house technology is used, the construction period is usually 5 days. This technology divides the house into multiple independent modules (such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, etc.), which are prefabricated in the factory and then transported to the site for assembly. Since modular production can be carried out in parallel and on-site assembly only requires connecting module interfaces, the overall efficiency is significantly higher than traditional methods.

If the traditional cement pouring integrated house construction method is adopted, the cycle is relatively long. Under normal temperature conditions, concrete takes 28 days to reach the design strength standard, which is determined by the chemical properties of cement hydration reactions. In addition, preliminary work such as foundation construction, steel bar binding, and formwork installation need to be completed, and each step must strictly follow construction specifications. For example, foundation construction must ensure that the foundation bearing capacity meets the standards, steel bar binding must comply with seismic design requirements, and formwork installation must ensure structural dimensional accuracy. The overall construction period usually takes several months, and the specific time depends on the house size and construction conditions.

In summary, the production time of cement prefabricated houses needs to be comprehensively judged based on the technology type, house size, and geological conditions. Prefabricated houses and modular technologies are suitable for rapid construction needs, while traditional pouring methods are more suitable for scenarios with high requirements for structural durability.
