Cement Prefabricated Assembly House Standard

Admin September 18, 2026

The relevant standards for cement prefabricated assembly houses mainly include the 'Technical Specification for Prefabricated Concrete Structure Buildings', 'Technical Standard for Prestressed Prefabricated Concrete Frame Structures', 'Quality Acceptance Standard for Construction of Prefabricated Building Projects', and 'General Technical Conditions for Prefabricated Components in Prefabricated Concrete Buildings' (GB/T 40399 - 2021), among others.

The 'Technical Specification for Prefabricated Concrete Structure Buildings' is jointly issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China and is currently a draft for comments. It consists of 11 chapters and 2 appendices, with comprehensive and detailed content. The general provisions clarify the scope of application and basic requirements of the specification; terms and symbols unify professional expressions within the industry; basic provisions provide fundamental guidelines for the design and construction of the entire prefabricated concrete structure building; building integrated design emphasizes the collaborative cooperation among various disciplines; structural design ensures the safety of the building; interior decoration design and exterior enclosure design focus on the functionality and aesthetics of the building; component production standardizes the production process and quality standards; construction and installation clarify the construction techniques and installation requirements; and the acceptance stage ensures that the building quality meets the standards.

The 'Technical Standard for Prestressed Prefabricated Concrete Frame Structures' has been approved as an industry standard and will be implemented from April 1, 2025. This standard is applicable to areas with a seismic fortification intensity of 9 degrees and below, covering all aspects from material selection to the production, transportation, and stacking of prefabricated components. In terms of materials, it sets clear requirements for the performance of raw materials such as concrete and steel bars; in structural design, it considers the overall stability and seismic performance of the structure; and the design of prefabricated components and connection design are core contents, ensuring that the connections between components are firm and reliable.

The 'Quality Acceptance Standard for Construction of Prefabricated Building Projects' is currently a draft for comments, with a wide scope of coverage. It includes the site acceptance, process acceptance, and physical inspection of various types of projects such as prefabricated concrete structure projects, prefabricated steel structure projects, and prefabricated timber structure projects, providing a comprehensive basis for quality control in the construction of prefabricated building projects.

The 'General Technical Conditions for Prefabricated Components in Prefabricated Concrete Buildings' (GB/T 40399 - 2021) was issued on August 20, 2021, and officially implemented on March 1, 2022. It specifies the general technical conditions for prefabricated components, applicable to quality control in design, production, and construction processes, and makes detailed provisions for core technical indicators such as the material performance, structural design, production process, and quality inspection of prefabricated components.
