Can Mobile Toilets Be Blown Away by the Wind
Whether mobile toilets can be blown away by the wind depends on multiple factors, and they may be blown away under adverse conditions such as extreme strong winds.

Wind strength is a key factor: In normal gentle breezes or light wind conditions, well-designed and properly installed mobile toilets can remain stable. However, when encountering extreme strong winds, such as a Category 12 typhoon with wind speeds reaching 32.7 - 36.9 meters per second, mobile toilets can easily be blown around or even overturned. For example, there have been cases where mobile toilets were directly blown into the air during tropical storms (which can be regarded as extreme strong wind situations), fully demonstrating the huge threat that extreme winds pose to the stability of mobile toilets.
The design structure and material of the mobile toilet itself affect its wind resistance: Mobile toilets with heavy bottom counterweights and sturdy frame structures have stronger wind resistance. Some products are also equipped with ground-fixing devices to further enhance stability. On the contrary, simple, lightweight, and high-center-of-gravity plastic mobile toilets have poor inherent stability and are easily blown over in strong winds. Mobile toilets with a reasonable structural design, a low center of gravity, and built-in counterweights have stronger wind resistance and are less likely to be blown over by strong winds.
The installation location and fixing method are also crucial: Mobile toilets installed in open and windy locations are subject to greater wind impact and have a higher probability of being blown over. In contrast, those installed behind buildings or in areas with obstructions experience significantly reduced wind forces and have better stability. In addition, mobile toilets that are firmly fixed to the ground with expansion bolts during installation or reinforced with wind-proof cables have a much lower risk of being affected by strong winds. If the installation is not standardized and effective fixing is not carried out, even if the structure is good, the mobile toilet may still be blown over in strong wind conditions.
